Hello from Wolfgang and Hedi, two local Blue Mountains hiking enthusiasts with a Parks Eco Pass license for guided hiking tours awarded by NPWS, EcoStar certified and accredited for Quality and Sustainable Tourism.
Some will remember us from our time as volunteers at the Blue Mountains Visitor Information Centre in Katoomba where we had given hiking advice before it became a casualty of the pandemic.
Did you know, there are 130 different species of orchid plants in the Blue Mountains? With orchids being only one species of a vast variety of plants native to the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area, there is so much more to learn about the local flora, fauna, geology (Hedi has an MSc in Mineralogy) and also history of this place! We love to be your guides.
We support the Australian Conservation Foundation with a donation for every walk.

This day trip was outstanding!! We had four in our group and Wolfgang and his wife, Hedi were amazing guides. So personalized. They planned the day with us and took us to the exact places we had an interest in. I don’t think I have had better guides ever. They went out of their way to make our day the best ever. Wonderful people and I would HIGHLY going with them thru the Blue Mountains as opposed to the bus tours!!

An amazing experience around the Grand Canyon on the first day of reopening since the torrential rain. Wolfgang and Heidi really took care of us and knew so much about the flora & fauna, geology and history of the tour. The day was just perfect in every way and after the hike, we were taken to eat and then to Echo Point to see the Three Sisters. Many thanks to Wolfgang and Heidi for such a special day!

A wonderful day in the Blue Mountains with Wolfgang and Heidi. The weather wasn´t too good, but Wolfgang and Heidi adapted the day to the circumstances and we had some great hikes and spectacular views. Wolfgang and Heidi went out of their way to give us a great experience and a really really nice day and to share their knowledge and love for the nature and the area. This experience is highly recommendable - with no prior knowledge of the Blue Mountains we could not have made this trip on our own.

A wonderful and unique experience provided by two enthusiastic guides who are expert in the local bushcraft, flora and fauna. Wolfgang and Heidi are highly professional and adapted there programme to suit the differing needs of our party. Full of enthusiasm they provided a highly enjoyable and fun day. As well as the incredibly dramatic views; you may spot Lyre birds, Eastern water dragons and Crayfish as you picnic by the waterfall rock pools. Both myself and my wife highly recommend this excellent experience. Thanks Wolfgang and Heidi.
