What you'll do
First things first. You gotta understand how all starts, and that happens in the vineyard. We will do a short walk through the vineyard and with that you will learn in a condensed way a bit about the vines, the autochthonous grape varieties of Vinho Verde and about our viticultural practices. After that, we move to the winery and we show you how we handcraft our wines at Sapateiro and take you through the step-by-step process of how we make wine. Lastly, the most important aspect of your visit: wine tasting. You will enjoy them on the balcony with an amazing view over the vineyard and the city of Marco de Canaveses. Oh, and you will do all this with the Founder of the winery, all in an informal and relaxed way. Additionally, we will offer you some food snacks like cheese, crackers, bread, nuts, regional cookies, presunto, salpicão (smoked ham), alheira and maybe something more ;)

During a few years, I worked abroad in different industries and traveled a bit, but in the end, I got back to my roots and started my own wine brand - Sapateiro. Those are the wines I want you to taste, and I look forward to seeing you here.
Cheese, bread, crackers, regional cookies and pastries, nuts, and if you are lucky a bit of presunto or salpicão (smoked…
You will taste 4 wines: 2 whites, 1 Rosé, and 1 Red.
