What you'll do

We will discover a territory through its flavors, fragrances and traditions. Immersed in the rolling hills and spectacular views of Chiantishire, we will visit our estate aboard a vintage Jeep and we will discover the history of our family, a family of winemakers since 1849 and drink a hot tea in the middle of our vineyeard. Then we will see our fermentation and aging cellars (this one dates back to the mid-18th century) and we will discover the secrets through which a wine evolves from the vineyards to the bottle through the entire winemaking and aging processes. Afterwards, in a relaxed atmosphere, we will have the opportunity to taste our labels, among which Chianti Classico and Supertuscan, paired with typical local food: bruschette, local cheese, cold cuts and our EVO oil.
We have also 8 flats in the farmhouse by airbnb (see our profile), just in case you would like also to sleep here and 2 flats in the heart of Florence.
Other things to note
IMPORTANT: Vineyards' tour with jeep is subject to weather condition, If bad condition it will not be done. The wine tasting with light lunch will still be guarantee

This wine tour/tasting was AMAZING!!! It was very easy to get to from Florence! Carlotta and Federico: Carlotta was our guide, along with Federico; both were great. Carlotta went above and beyond during the entire tour. From being extremely knowledgeable, to knowing everything about the wines and how to describe them. Carlotta also ensured to show us to the bus stop to make sure we got back into the city without a problem. The grounds: The location is nothing short of beautiful. There are no words that truly do it justice. From the main house, which was built in the 1600s; to the reception area (which was built in the 1800s). The actual vineyard area was also magical and picturesque (along with the area in which the olive tree are planted). The lake area is also great (make sure to take a walk down to the lake after the tasting). 4x4 tour of the vineyard: We were created by Carlotta (she was great!), and we were blessed with great weather. Carlotta and Federico drove us around the grounds and were very informative regarding the vines/grapes and the entire process from planting all the way to the bottling process. Carlotta also answered every question we asked. You can tell that Carlotta and Federico truly love what they do and their love shows in their actions and the wine and the way the grounds are maintained. Wine tasting/food: We had the pleasure of tasting four (4) wines (three reds and one dessert wine). I can go on forever regarding the taste of each of the wines, but I will say this; some of the best wines I have every tasted. From the house wine to (easiest red wine to drink), to the Chianti Reserve (full bodied), to the Tuscany Superior (extremely flavorful), to the dessert wine (had sort of a rum finish). The wine was accompanied by a great spread (meats, cheeses, bread, crosstinies, fresh tomatoes, olive oil, and biscottis) everything was fresh and tasteful and very filling! The olive oil is made on the grounds and has such a pure taste!

This experience was 100% worth it! Even if we could not go around in the Jeep due to the soil being too muddy and thus being dangerous, we learned a lot and got to eat such good food with their quality wine!!
