Monet's lovely paintings are Impressionism's high mark. But his style is more accessible than you might think. At my studio, we'll break down what makes his work great and apply his techniques to recreate an iconic piece.
I'll teach you how the Impressionists used color theory and short strokes to capture natural scenes, then help you craft your own personal Monet reproduction. All materials are included, and we’ll use fast-drying acrylic paint so you can take your artwork home the same day.

Hello! My name is Romain. I'm an artist by profession and drawing is my life. Since 2016, I’ve worked and taught art classes at my studio, Atelier Thieulot. I also love to draw in situ in the streets of Paris, or anywhere else my travels take me, and I've brought my sketchbook to study neighborhood landscapes across France and Asia. My classes go beyond art history by teaching you how to break down iconic works and reassemble them on your pad.
