What you'll do
We will meet in Rijeka in front of History Museum known also as the Guverner Palace. After we introduce ourselves to each other we hop into a car and take a 10 minute drive to our destination. The place we will explore is inside of the nearby mountain above the city of Rijeka. The very entrance to the Bunker is hidden by some trees and from afar looks like a forgotten cave of some sort. This is exactly where we are heading - it is an abandoned site, not well known by the general population. We will enter a series of tunnels, rooms and outposts. I will provide you with a simple map of this underground complex so you can see where we are heading. After an hour of exploring or when you start to crave the sunlight we will leave this bunker and enjoy the rest of the tour on a grassy meadow directly above the dark underworld. In the end we will take another 10minute drive back to our meeting point
Nature lover from young age, now big in rock climbing, mountaineering and hiking. I feel like spending time in nature is not an escape from everyday life but rather fulfilment of our basic needs and therefore should be regarded as deeply important. I would like you to join me for a brief moment in time to explore some of the most interesting man-made sites and natural wonders my hometown area has to offer!
