What you'll do
Meeting at Kooks Restaurant, 56 Gardner Street in the North Lanes, Brighton, guests will have coffee/tea and cake while Susan gives a short talk about vintage fashion. Starting with a quiz sent out beforehand Susan will give a brief presentation about fashion history and why certain garments have survived to become vintage. There will be a brief discussion about what is considered as the current vintage trends and an explanation about the specialist shops that we will be visited on the tour. The shops have been hand picked to feature the owner/managers special interests. Guests will then visit 6 shops who have agreed to take part in the tour. Staff will be on hand to give specialist advice. Other shops of interest will be pointed out on the tour so that guests can visit them at a later date.
