About your host

I was born and raised in Regla, one of the most religious areas in Cuba. I come from a very religious family, and for that reason I am very close to experts and practitioners of Afro-Cuban religion. I also work in a museum dedicated to Afro-Cuban religion. I speak English fluently and have a degree in economics from the University of Havana.
