What you'll do
We will summit San Diego's most popular hike, Cowles Mountain, by way of the much less crowded, but equally scenic, Barker Way route . We will hike together, taking breaks as needed for snacks and water, which will be provided. Upon reaching the summit, we will have time for scenic photos before finding a peaceful place to meditate for about 15 more minutes. Once well feed, hydrated and mindful, we will venture back to our starting point . Upon completion of our journey, you will be welcome to explore the area on your own or be driven to the local destination of your choosing. This is a moderate hike of 3-4 miles and will take about 2 hours total based on pace and time spent at the top. If you're interested in a time or date not listed, please send me a message.
Born and raised a San Diego native, I grew up exploring the beautiful trails and natural spaces of the area. As a multi marathoner, I’m familiar with both kicking it into high gear and pacing myself as needed to get the most out of the activity I’m participating in. We will stretch, hike and meditate amongst rugged beauty. This area is known for being a hub for activities including rock climbing, hiking, photography, biking and camping.

Up to 6 guests of all ages can attend. We may be hiking uphill at various points so have comfortable shoes and be prepared to burn a few calories.
