What you'll do
This activity will be a guided tour of select parts of Mersey Valley and Bridgewater Canal via mountain bike. The bike and all safety equipment will be provided. Starting from Fletcher Moss Botanical gardens and heading out towards the deer parks of Dunham Massey. There will be a chance along the way to visit FREE stately homes and botanical gardens, explore the ruins of old Manchester industry and hear more about the history of the local area from Ancient settlement, industrial revolution and modern motorway building.
I've lived in South Manchester for over 10 years and fallen in love with the amazing scenery and history of the area. I volunteer in the Mersey Valley and have just purchased a house along the river. I use this as a base for all my nature and historical explorations - reading up on the area and planning new routes and nature trails. I work professionally with investors (both in the UK and abroad) and have developed great skills in guiding and entertaining.
