What you'll do

I'll welcome you to my home and we will spend first few minutes gently warming up our legs. I'll talk you through the history of traditional dance in Ireland. I'll a do quick demonstration of all the different styles of Irish dance and then we can discuss the differences and specifics between them. Then it's time for the dancing! We'll learn a Sean-nós dance step and a Irish step dance step. We'll try the steps to the music. According to how much time is left, we can learn more steps. After that I'll explain how to create your own step out of the movements we just learned. In the end you will have an opportunity to record everything we did. I'll finish the experience with a short performance for you. This experience is suited for people who have a genuine interest in Irish dance and want to learn its basics. Do you have a previous experience and want to learn new tricks? No problem! I've experiences teaching wide range of levels, from complete beginners to very advanced. Since it will be situated for max. 3 people, we can adjust the lesson to your needs. All my attention will be on you and I will do as much as I can to help you with the process of learning.
