What you'll do

You’ll arrive at the farm and immediately be greeted by some friendly black labs, a pig named Gus, and a whole herd of beautiful goats. Danny, your host, will then lead you to the little babies, and will demonstrate how to bottle feed them. From there, it’s all about feeding, cuddling, and quality time with little baby goats. Be sure to bring a camera and dress comfortably, as you’ll want to fully enjoy and capture these precious moments!

Clifford

A third-generation native Charlestonian, and a veteran of the South Carolina National Guard and the US Air Force Reserve, I'm deeply ingrained in the land of this city and state. Yet it took over 20 years of working in real estate for me to come back to my roots, so to speak, and realize that farm life is the best life. Now I spend my days caring for and milking my goats and bringing fresh goat cheese and raw milk to the people of Charleston. I feel like I'm back where I belong.

Where you'll be

You’ll spend most of your time in the baby area, but will have the opportunity to walk around, explore the farm, and meet all of the resident animals: goats, dogs, a pig, one sheep named Eleanor, and some geese who definitely think they’re goats.

More tips

This is a rural setting and a working dairy farm, with some dirt and lots of animals. Be ready to get a little dirty, but mostly, laugh and have fun! Please note: no public restrooms available.
