G'day, my name is David, but my friends call me 'Kangaroo Jack'. Why? Well for starters I work at the zoo, so I'm always around cuddly animals, however what is even more unique is I literally have a pet kangaroo... What? Are you serious? Absolutely, her name is Jo & she is AMAZING! Having grown up on the Victorian Surf Coast, I have a ton of knowledge of the local area, indigenous culture, native wildlife & secret spots to visit that only the locals know about. Previously, I have also spent time working in America for the Walt Disney Company. I want my guests to have a magical experience on the Great Ocean Road with an authentic Aussie, combining my passion for wildlife & environmental conservation. I'm LGBTIQ friendly & everyone is welcome on my experiences, so as my best mate Mickey Mouse would say "I hope to see you all real soon!"

The trip is perfectly prepared. A very cordial and competent guide, great commitment to nature protection. Small group, which was favourable for establishing contact. A unique place. It's really worth visiting Koala, Kangaroo & Cultural Experience. I recommend! Thanks David :)

I really appreciate that the booking was kept despite my being the only participant that afternoon. I also appreciate that the host is a volunteer donating most of the proceeds from these excursions to care for wildlife. Everything we did was based on the availability of different animals and attractions, but David got me into see and interact with animals that other tour groups could not get into, if they were available. I don’t think you should go to Victoria without doing this tour if you want to see or learn about Australian animals or indigenous culture. I’ll also note that while the train ride was longer for me, the host made it super easy to get there!

We had a wonderful informative time. David spent time explaining everything and showing us all the animals and like others had said we never would have been able to see or interacted with the animals without David. Thank you David.

What an amazing day!! We were blown away by this experience. We had very high expectations from previous reviews and they were totally exceeded. David has so much knowledge to share and being able to get up close and personal with such beautiful animals was a truly once in a lifetime experience. Worth every penny - in fact, it felt like a bargain, getting to see and learn so much in a small group of four. Thanks for everything David! X
