What you'll do
Starting in the heart of Dublin we will explore the city, its hidden treasures and well-known sights. Each tour is personalised to give you the experience that you want whether it be street photography, landscapes (yes that is possible in the city!), architecture or a combination. This is a typical tour route: starting at the Ha'penny Bridge we will follow the River Liffey west towards Christchurch and St. Patrick's before heading to St. Stephen's Green and the southside Georgian Quarter for its iconic doors. We can take a short break here for coffee then travel on to the Liffey via Grand Canal Dock covering the city's modern quarter. We will be using filters, studying composition and principles of exposure in the best locations in Dublin.
I'm an Irish photographer and author who loves showing off the best of Dublin and Ireland. As a travel photographer with years of experience I will teach you how to make better images from your visit to Dublin, a skill that you can take home with you and onwards on your travels. My tours are more than just photography, as we walk through the city streets I will tell you about its history and geography. I'm internationally published in travel magazines, newspapers, in-flight magazines and architectural publications including the New York Times, Sunday Times and Ritz-Carlton Hotels.
A bottle of mineral water Let's keep hydrated as we walk!
Tripod & Filter If you need a tripod and filter I can provide these but please ask ahead of time.
