What you'll do

We'll introduce you to all the animals at Heritage Farm.

Our sheep will come up for a pat. And you will get to hand feed them some lucerne or grass hay. Depending on the time of year, we sometimes have a baby lamb you can help feed too.

We'll check out our ducks and chooks and you'll get to help scatter feed for them. We often have ducklings or chickens as well, that you'll get to hold and pet. However we don't always have them (we only keep them in the brooder for a very short time). If you really want to see baby chicks or ducklings please get in touch first to see if we have them.

Our alpacas, Chance, Chase, Dino and Eureka are more regal and less affectionate. They'll come up for some food if the group is calm and quiet, but too many squeals will frighten them off.
Other things to note
Please wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty. You will be touching hay, and animals. Depending on the weather the farm may be muddy. There will be poo on the ground so wear closed toed shoes.

fantastic farm experience lead by Rory. Us city slickers got to feed chicken, sheep and the alpaca. Learnt the purpose of each animal on the farm and how they source locally. Rory is pretty fantastic, very well spoken, friendly and knowledgeable. it was awesome.

This experience was awesome! Our host was amazing, she was so friendly and welcoming and told us many stories about the animals, their history and their personalities! We were able to get up so close to the animals, and also pat and cuddle the sheep! It was so much fun feeding them all and the experience went for longer than was quoted. We look forward to visiting again in a few months and seeing how Juju, Patch, Pink and Gayle are going! It was a heart warming experience💛🐑🦙🐓💕

Super cute little farm. It’s doesn’t look like much, but don’t let that put you off - our guide obviously loved the animals and was super friendly and nice. Our visit was just after lambing season so feeding some little lambs from the bottle just about broke my wife. Thanks for a great morning guys!
