We visited on an extremely rainy day. Our hosts were quite gracious . We learned all about alpacas and then visited the "ladies" who were happy to partake of the treats our hosts provided. Alpacas are really cool!
We finished up at the weaving shop where we learned all about alpaca fibers and the methods used to produce a variety of products.
Finally we had the opportunity to purchase some great products.

Chris and Nancy and their pups Cody and Kucas were our hosts. We learned so much about raising alpacas and the sheering process all the way to making unique fiber wear. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thank you.

We appreciated the time and care Nancy and Kris took to teach us about alpacas and share the story of how they came to have an alpaca farm. We enjoyed meeting the alpacas (and the dogs as well).

About me
Alpaca farmer and fiber artist
My husband Kris and I have been raising alpacas since 2004. We learned to care for them and process their fiber. I spin yarn and felt the fiber into hats and capes. I’ve participated in Fashion Week of Rochester and love sharing my passion.
