Being in Melbourne, a city synonymous to coffee and food, I am the same, a self-proclaimed foodie. After ditching hospitality work as a food and beverage cost controller for more than 10 years, I started curating events, particularly promoting local sustainable food businesses. I know the best places to get succulent seasonal, locally sourced foods from diverse cuisines. It is my passion for great food, meeting people, helping the community and environment that inspire all the experiences I share. Let's eat! Shall we?

Where you'll be

We will start our walk to have coffee in a small laneway shop. We will also take a quick look on city’s famous laneways and take photos to share on your social media or snap to remember your tour. We’ll take the tram to proceed to Victoria Market area. Lunch or dinner before heading back to Chinatown. Route changes as some joints might not be open on certain days, though stops and activity remains on focus on evolution food in Melbourne.

The tour was fantastic, a nice small intimate group. Rafael was delightful and informative so welcoming and generous with his time and knowledge. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience .

We are so glad we chose this 10.00 - 1.00 Tour. Raphael was very well informed about the special culture of Melbourne. He was very well organised, prompt with clear meeting time and place instructions. We enjoyed the company of Raphael and the other members of our small group. As a couple who live in Melbourne we discovered new places which was great. We enjoyed our coffee and the Cafes and Restaurants Raphael introduced us too. I cannot believe anyone could criticise this Tour or complain about the food. We had so much to eat we didn’t need any dinner. We also liked the way that Raphael is a sole operator who is the organiser and operator. Congratulations Raphael. Sandi & Ken. Sandi & Ken This

I really enjoyed my tour with Rafael. He keeps numbers to a minimum so the experience feels relaxed and personal. We tried lots of food - we definitely didn't go hungry! You also cover a lot of the city and get lots of recommendations so it's a good introduction to the city.

A fantastic intro to the food scene in Melbourne. I would recommend it to all. Make sure you start with an empty tummy for there is plenty of great and different food to try.

Supposed to be a food tour and we didn’t get anything to eat until several hours into the tour. He didn’t really research the places he took us to because several places were closed. He was friendly enough but I felt I definitely wasted my money on this tour.

Could have easily done this on our own. Didn’t get to eat or drink anything until an hour and a half into the tour. Some places were closed So he went to another place. Not very well planned.
