What you'll do
If you like walking tours that are non traditional, quirky and has a touch of satire to it, then this is where you sign up. Galle Fort is a visual metaphor that brings to light the modern Sri Lanka that you have visited. My walking tours are an interactive and conversation driven experience where the participant can explore their interests in people, art, culture and history. This is an insiders perspective of how you can best experience the Unesco World Heritage Site while also gaining clarity on your entire journey here in Sri Lanka. Let me help you decode the magic and the mystery of Galle Fort.
I'm Shanjei, I started Galle fort walks three years ago and this has become a shining brand in Lankan Tourism. My work has been featured in Conde Nast Traveller International and India. Traveller.com Australia, has named me the best walking tour in 2017 and also featured me as one of the 13 most inspirational travel personalities in the world. On paper what I do is walking tours, yet this has now evolved into more a walk that encapsulates the traveller's entire Lankan journey and gives more perspective to their trip.
