What you'll do

You are invited on our homeland with a homemade juice. You will get a list with plants who you possible find on the walk. We start the walk on our land, where we will find many edible wild plants who are planted, seeded or who just occur naturally. We continue our walk to the ridge behind our homeland and as from there we walk through the orchards to the forest. Depending the season we change the trail for the sake of finding the edible plants who are ready to eat. It 's a beautiful walk with nice views on the village of about one hour and a half. The length of the walk depends on the condition of the group, the questions or simply because of the weather. At the end of the walk we take the harvest of flowers and leaves and roots to the summer kitchen where we will prepare a dish with the ingredients. The possibilities are multiple. Every season has his flavors and recepies like soup, salade, pesto, jam or aperitif and more. We close the afternoon with a little snack and drink or you can take a little preparation with you home.

Sylvia

I was fascinated as from childhood by nature and by natural health care. After traumatising my children with many strange and healthy dishes I changed my motto without loosing my goal to 'first delicious and secondly healthy' In my big wild garden in the Flanders I could experiment wholeheartedly with healthy and edible plants. I left this little paradise in Putte to start here(Ecurey en Verdunois) my family homeland (Anastasia - Vladimir Megre was a major source of inspiration) I am a naturopath (European natural healthcare ) since 2001

Where you'll be

We start the experience on our 'homeland' with the different animal families. After that we climb up the hill with the beautiful view on our village and the village of Lissey, an old wine region early years 1800(a far offshoot of the gaume region) Eventually we continue the walk to the other (south) side of the hill and there we find more plants more flowers and... more beautiful landscape.
