What you'll do

This was an amazing experience! Fabrizio was thoughtful and patient. The ride was so relaxing and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The inclines were a bit challenging, so I’m glad I opted for the electric bike. I really appreciated the way Fabrizio put so much effort into making this experience pleasant and memorable.

Before meeting Fabrizio, my wife and I had already completed a few guided tours in Italy in which we felt rushed, and so we were expecting the same with Fabrizio. However, it was quite the opposite. He was very patient in showing and explaining to us the local country side and its history, which included plenty of stops. The chosen route is really beautiful and includes vineyards and olive farms. For lunch we stopped at a local restaurant, which is at a hilltop, that has delicious food. We ate their lasagna, which was recommended by Fabrizio, and it was great! So we do recommend booking a tour with him. And, yes, we would do it again ourselves. The best part about booking with him is that there is no rush, which was really appreciated, and so you enjoy it more. Also, when you book with Fabrizio, get the electric bikes! They are so cool (you'll want to buy one for yourself when you return home) and are a really thoughtful idea by Fabrizio.

This was an amazing activity, and Fabrizio was such a nice guy, well informed, and personable person. The bike trip was wonderful. My wife was able to do the sometimes demanding route, on a regular mountain bike. I tried the normal bike at first, but due to a knee injury, I was not able to. So I used one of his electric assisted bikes. It was the first time for me using one of these. It made all the difference in the world! Although it felt like a normal mountain biking experience, i man like I was actually biking, It made the trip very doable. In fact, I could have easily beaten them. So much for the bike, the trip was beautiful, with frequent stops where Fabrizio gave us much interesting information. And along the way, we stoped for a coffee and desert at a lovely Italian restaurant. He was so kind to take us to the railway station from his house at the end of the trip. I highly recommend doing this trip, it was a highlight of our vacation.

Fabrizio was wonderful. His personality was outgoing and engaging. He clearly has a great knowledge of the area we rode through. The area we saw, the food we ate were very culturally specific to Italians and we felt a part of what we were doing. I would definitely recommend the experience, it be sure you are in good physical shape for the cycling.

This was an incredible experience—we got to see Florence and the Tuscan countryside in a very unique way by bicycle, and stopped along the way to admire the breathtaking views, eat local food, and learn the history of the area, which was unique to the countryside and wasn’t what you would normally learn in a historical museum. It felt very special and like something we wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise, and Fabrizio was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Great exercise too!
