What you'll do

During your 1.5hr walk around the farm, you will learn about award winning free range heritage breed pigs and get to feed them. You will see our award winning lamb, and the gorgeous hairy Highland cows. Redleaf farm also has chickens, ducks, geese and peafowl, alpacas, goats and a miniature donkey who loves to have a cuddle.

You will learn about ethically raising animals and the process of meat production with provenance.

We will show you around our farm and animals, ending with our special waterfall and swimming hole, and kids will enjoy the log 'climbing fort' and tyre swing by the creek.

We encourage private groups to make a visit to Redleaf a special and memorable experience.
Other things to note
It can be cold in the highlands and weather can change fast. Please be prepared with sensible shoes (mud boots are always a good idea) and a jacket. There can be many hazzards on a farm, so please follow directions and stay alert.

Redleaf Farm is a multi award winning small farm, producing some of Australia's best free range organic pork and lamb. We have won gold medals in 2017, 2018, 2019 for our lamb and pork, and proudly supply some of the countries top chefs. I am passionate about sustainable agriculture and human nutrition through food - you are what your food eats! As the daughter of Rosemary Stanton, Australia's first and most respected nutritionist, I have spent my life loving good food - and the last 12 years growing it. We are advocates of ethically raised animals and strive to educate people about food provenance and quality.

This tour is absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend it for anyone visiting the area! Katrina is extremely knowledgeable and has so many interesting stories to tell as well as fantastic knowledge to share. We were especially lucky on our visit to meet and even hold some 3 day old piglets - an experience I will definitely never forget. It was a nice easy walk so for those who are concerned about walking long distances, it's more of a stroll than a hard walk for the 1.45 hours to 2 hours that the tour takes, as you make your way around the farm to meet their pigs, alpacas, sheep, ducks, chickens, doves, donkey (Hector is SO cute and gives the best cuddles), and Scottish Highland cows. Feeding the cows was also definitely a highlight, as Scottish Highland cows are not commonly found and just gorgeous seen up close and personal. I also really loved the emphasis she put on the importance of supporting local businesses, nose to tail cooking, reducing & recycling, and on conserving the natural environment (as her farm grounds also happen to house a number of rare species of native Aussie wildlife). We will be back to do the tour again in a heartbeat.
