Animal experience hosted by Lisa

What you'll do

We'll meet at a large 50-acre paddock on a private property that is home to 4 horses, 8 cows and 40 goats. We'll set out on foot to find the herd which gives us a few minutes to answer questions and have a chat about general guidelines to safely interact with the animals. Once we find the horses, we will delve deeper into each of their stories and unique personalities. We will not use any ropes, halters, bridles or any gear, and there will be no riding. We will connect with them with our feet on the ground, using our awareness, intention and body language only. We will hold a brief meditation to attune to the herd energy and to put everyone into a peaceful and present state of mind. We will then practice body awareness and breathing exercises designed to align our physical posture to suit our horse encounter. When we are ready, we invite the horses to interact with us, practice sending and receiving subtle signals to and from them and play with basic intuitive communication. The way you are perceived by the horses will give you fascinating insight into both horses and yourself. This information from the herd can be a valuable guide for what will assist your growth, well being and improve many relationships in your life.
Other things to note
Children are welcome. We recommend 7 years and older. If children are on their own, we are happy to take them and we can discuss their needs before we go. Or parents can go on the adventure with them.

My name is Lisa. I am dedicated to inspiring compassion towards horses and offering an experience where people receive their potent wisdom and healing. I specialise in an alternative way of connecting with horses that is compassionate, collaborative and deeply fulfilling. I'm the creator of One With Horses, which is both how I describe my way of being with horses as well as the title of a book I'm currently completing. As a Certified Equestrian Australia Coach, I have over 15 years of experience handling horses safely, kindly and minimising risk for all ages and levels of experience. As we stand together with the horses and listen to their subtle messages, we awaken to new ways of being based on unconditional love and presence. I hope you will join us for a gentle, heartfelt adventure into the magical world of horses.
