What you'll do

Explore nature in the city and sample Korean snacks

Mount Bukhan, one of the most visited places by the citizens of Seoul, is a perfect place to enjoy nature in the city. We will walk along the Bukhansan Dulle-gil Trail for about three hours. Don't be afraid: the elderly and children can walk the course. We will have a pleasant talk and walk on the mountain path. I'll introduce you to some nice places, and I can take your pictures at Mount Bukhan. During break time, we will eat a favorite Korean snack, gimbap, and instant cup noodles. You will be surprised to find such wonderful nature in a modern city. I hope to share this special experience with you.

Where you'll be

We will meet at the April 19th National Cemetery Station. After a brief introduction about me, I will guide you on a seasonable walking course for three hours. Bukhansan is the largest mountain in Seoul, and has more than 30 courses. Although it is a mountain that retains its fantastic charm in every season, it is relatively unknown to visitors. In this special place you will love Seoul more.

My hiking with Sehyun. I had chosen this hike because it was good for both old people and for small kids. For me it was a hard tour, but he made it much easier. Sehyun was the best tour guide, he was nice, kind and nice to talk with and a big help encouraging me.

Being from Seattle where there are a ton of hikes, this one was awesome! Reminded me of hiking back home and was an actual hike as opposed to some others I have done here in Korea. I really enjoyed that the trail wasn’t overly crowded with other hikers like it is back in Seattle. Sehyun was a great trail guide. The pace was perfect and the views were amazing. Sehyun was great hosting this experience. He was very knowledgeable, friendly and considerate. It was very nice of him to provide water and food. I will definitely sign up for this hike again the next time I come to Seoul.

The guided tour with Sehyun was great. The trail was not packed with tourist, mostly locals. It was like hiking with a friend. He made it comfortable and conversation just flow. Ramen and kimbap was perfect combination and good reward after a long hike. I would definitely recommend this to my friends traveling!

Sehyun is a very nice guide who arrange for a weekday hike to accommodate us due our schedule in Korea only falls on weekend. 🖒 He constantly check on us if we are ok during the hike. Kimbah prepared by his wife is tasty. 😃 The route is kinda tough with rocky steps up. Tough for beginner. Will recommend to bring hiking stick. However, as many stated view is awesome. No pain no gain. Thus for the next few days in Korea we literary walk like a 🦀😂.

Sehyun was a really funny oppa in my opinion! He motivates us a lot when we were tired and makes sure everyone is safe and right behind him. He offers to take pictures as well! Thumbs Up! The trail was 3 km up and another 3 km down. For travelers who seldom hike, this is definitely not easy as said as some parts were quite steep which requires quite some stamina. But, I still find it manageable! Hiking is all about challenging yourself, so do not hesitate if you would really want to try a nice morning hike in Korea. Enjoying Ramen and Kimbap at the top is a must try experience!
