What you'll do
This is an amazing gourmet sea kayaking tour in the Swedish archipelago. Learn to cook elaborate meals in the outdoors and paddle to the best restaurants of the islands.
Join a small group and our kayaking & wild cooking guide. You'll set up base camp on an island near the most beautiful highlights of the archipelago, and go for kayaking day trips to the picturesque old fishing village at Harstena, the stunning lookout Kupa Klint and dine at the local eateries.
Your will cook up advanced Swedish cuisine on the cooking stove, using locally sourced ingredients like wild boar, lamb and fish as well as some foraged ingredients. Dishes include a slow-cooked lamb stew in red wine with chanterelles, cherry tomatoes and pearl onions, your own pickled lingonberry herring on dark rye bread with horseraddish & dill creme, and flambeed poached ginger & cinnamon pears.
You will also get the chance to enjoy archipelago cuisine and culture at three small family-run restaurants nestled among the six thousand islands that make up the Saint Anna Archipelago.
Between meals, expect kayaking at a relaxed pace, exploring the archipelago's beautiful scenery, birdlife and historic landscapes. There will also time for wild swimming, wood carving and simply enjoying each other's company.
This tour is all about savouring local flavours and enjoying the outdoors comfy & decadent style!
