What you'll do
We'll meet your footy playing companion 'Suki-Sam the dog', learn some basic dog-obedience skills and get Sam to perform some of her tricks from shaking hands to Hi-5's. We'll then do a walking tour of the beautiful Samford Village, filled with an abundance of trendy cafes, craft & gift shops. We'll pop in for a refreshment at one of the many pet friendly cafes. Now for the biggest treat, we'll start the Samford Heritage trail and stroll past the parklands, down Station Street past the famous Samford Museum past beautiful babbling brooks, to the local dog park - where you will learn how to kick an 'Aussie Football' (or Soccer Ball - a bit easier, or toss a Frisbee) Suki-Sam is the best playing partner, she will catch - fetch - and tap the ball back to you - to test your reflexes. If you haven't got the skills I'll teach you how to kick, hand-ball and bounce an 'Aussie Football'. After all this fun, we will re-visit the Village for a refreshment.

I have a passion for all animals, sports and nature. I work in the music production industry and previously in hospitality, welcoming guests locally and internationally. During my spare time, I enjoy riding and training my horse and organising training clinics for our local club. Mostly, I enjoy playing ball games with my beautiful dog 'Suki-Sam' a very friendly and fun Australian Border Collie. Back in the day I played Gaelic Football and represented Western Australia I now enjoy sharing these skills with my dog, with all shaped balls. I've also been a volunteer 'Visitor Tourist Information Officer' for the Moreton Bay Shire, based in Samford Valley, along with being a local for over a dozen years - I know the area and beautiful trails rather well.
