Come enjoy all that Northern Michigan has to offer! The Glamping set up is located on the Big Cannon Creek, a tributary that flows right into the famous Manistee River. The Manistee River is is considered to be one of the best trout fisheries east of the Rockies and one of the best kayaking rivers in the North! Guests will arrive at The Big Cannon Creek where they will experience camping at it's finest. We provide a beautiful 16 foot stout tent equipped with all the necessities of camping or glamping as we like to call it. The first night is arrival. The following day is adventure day! Chad and Aimee will fit the guests to kayaks, lifejackets and paddles according to their body habitus. The hosts will do a brief review of how a kayak works. The trip will be 4-6 hours long depending on the skill level of the kayaker. Hosts will provide lunch - simple sandwich, chips, and drink (items that can be carried in a cooler). Lunch choices will be provided to guests prior to arrival. Hosts will escort guests back to their sleeping quarters, "the glamping" tents, where they will be able to relax and chat about the experiences of the day around a toasty campfire. Camp style dinner will be offered as will breakfast the following morning, cooked over the fire by their hosts and check out will be noon.
