What you'll do
The experience begins by meeting at the scenic lake in the evening as the sunsets. After meeting the other members of your group you will gear up for an epic evening kayak adventure. A short safety and "how to kayak" instruction session follows before you make your way along the shorelines of the pristine lake to a cave filled with Glowworms. Entering the cave is like entering a magical world as the glow worms surround you on all sides. Enjoy the magic before exiting the cave and on a clear night gazing at the stars on your return paddle home.

I have been an outdoor adventurer all my life. I have surfed, kayaked, paddle-boarded, water-skied, and free-dived so I have an abundance of water based activity experience. My passion is shared adventures with good people and taking people to incredible places that they wouldn't normally see.
I have lived in Rotorua for 4 years now and own and operate a paddle board and kayak tour company called Paddle Board Rotorua with my friend and business partner Matty. This enables me to keep sharing adventures with people in our amazing backyard.
This glow worm kayaking tour is very popular and because of this I am not always able to take you in person on the tour however my business partner Matty or one of my other friendly guides can ensure your trip is always likely to go ahead, weather dependent.

More tips
All kayaking equipment including personal flotation devices are provided. Neoprene wetsuits and water shoes are also provided for warmth outside of the summer months.
