Embark on a demanding trek into stunning Peruvian wilderness where you will trek through local mountain villages and explore abandoned Inca ruins en route to the awe-inspiring Machu Picchu archaeological site. Immerse yourself in the rich history of this Inca citadel with unparalleled views of the Peruvian jungle around you. Sleep in unique, sustainable Eco-camps for two nights, spend one night in the tiny Santa Teresa village in a 2-star hotel, and rest up at a 3-star hotel in Aguas Calientes on your final night. Indulge yourself with gourmet Peruvian cuisine throughout the trek, awe at Machu Picchu early in the morning and relax on your way back to Cuzco as you enjoy the scenic train ride back through the Urubamba River Valley. You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
More tips
It's important to be in good physical condition to do this trek. We will hike around 80 kilometers in 4 days. It's not an easy hike, but it's challenging and an amazing experience!
