What you'll do
Art therapy is a form of psychotherapy using art materials as an aid in expression of emotions and feelings. The process is the therapy as it can be a non-verbal form of communication that activates the right brain, induces relaxation by bypassing conscious thought and promotes neural connectivity. Making art fun for everybody and educating them about art is my passion. My workshops are suitable for people without any prior art experiences or knowledge! We will use water colours, pastels or chalk and movement that can give relief to trauma, resolve conflicts and enrich daily life. Your awareness of your own creative potential will increase along with feeling more connected to yourself and others. A sense of lightness will prevail with improvement in confidence and self esteem as you take some work projects home.
This will be a fun journey using art, colour, play and movement. I have found over the years with clients that leaving the brain out of the equation can allow a connection from other parts of the body which can draw out what is real for each of us. This will help you connect with the inner child that we sometimes leave behind. No knowledge of art is necessary. You will come away with tools to use and connection to your own wisdom. Your creative potential will come out naturally with no effort.
I will supply art equipment. If you have preferences please bring whatever you would like to add.

We will use the studio I have connected to my home which is a very special place to see and experience.
Things to keep in mind
For a full refund, cancel at least 7 days before the experience is scheduled to start or within 24 hours of purchase.
Always communicate through Airbnb. To protect your payment, never transfer money or communicate outside of the Airbnb website or app.
Up to 10 guests ages 17 and up can attend.
You’ll need to take a picture of yourself that matches the photo on your ID. This is so Airbnb can confirm who’s actually going on the experience. You’ll only have to do this once.
Wear comfortable clothes that you can move around in. If times don't suit please check in with me and we can change them to suit you.
