If you're in Quito, I highly recommend this day trip! It's a great chance to get out of the city and experience the beauty of Ecuador. We got to do and see so many different things, yet our guide, Jose, never made us feel rushed. We truly enjoyed spending the day with him - he is very knowledgable about the area and his energy is infectious. While I enjoyed every part of the tour, feeding the hummingbirds was by far our favorite - the experience totally exceeded our expectations!

We had the best day on our day trip to Mindo! Our guide Jose was so friendly and welcoming and answered all the questions we had! He always made sure we were having a great time. It was a jam packed day, with the hummingbirds, then butterfly sanctuary, waterfall hike, zipline, and chocolate tour! We had time to hike to all 5 waterfalls. The hike itself was not bad, but swimming in the waterfalls felt amazing! My only advice is to bring cash! There will be a stop on the way for food. Make sure to eat well or buy a lot of snacks since you will be active on this trip! Thank you again Jose!

Wow, what a special day! My wife and I had an incredible time visiting the cloud forest — truly one of the most beautiful landscapes we've ever been in. Jose was a fantastic guide — after taking us to a delicious breakfast, we visited the hummingbird and butterfly sanctuaries, and then we had a chance to hike to (and swim in) a stunning waterfall deep in the woods. Jose built in plenty of time for us to enjoy all these activities, and he was very knowledgeable about the history and nature in the region. After our hike, he encouraged us to go on the zipline through the forest (we were a bit nervous, but it was so fun!) and then we finished the day with a lovely chocolate tour. Overall, it was an incredibly memorable day, and we feel so lucky that we got to visit. Highly recommend!
