In short, the Hobbit house was amazing. I do like to make note that there were various places with spider webs that were visually unpleasant, inbetween the door slider to the balcony, on the way to the little sauna-like room accessible in the bathroom of the main bedroom, or the fireplace that is clearly never used. These are nitpicks that dings a bit but nothing to undermine how great this place is. There are many special places I've stayed and this is one of the few that I would actually mean it when i say I'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy, well decorated home. Everyone was comfortable, we easily cooked meals in the kitchen, and we enjoyed sleeping with the windows open with turkeys calling in the morning. The location was good as it’s tough to get much closer. Beds were comfortable and we enjoyed how well stocked the home was. Would return!

The home was spacious, comfortable and clean. The kids loved having the safe backyard to play in. The fireplace was very cozy and we enjoyed having morning coffee outside by the fire as well. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare food for 6 of us. We spent 2 days exploring Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Park with a couple of days just hanging out in this lovely home.

We had a great stay at this house and would not hesitate to come back. The house is very spacious, clean, and easily accommodated our party of nine guests.

We were two families, 4 adults, 4 kids, two dogs and this place was perfect for us. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious and equal in size, so perfect for sharing. Two kings and two queens. Enough couch space, counter space, and dining room seats to all hang out together. All the amenities you need - stocked kitchen, stocked linens and towels, bathtub, access to laundry and cleaning supplies, fireplace, keurig coffee machine, covered garage, porch chairs, game room with darts and pool table, horse shoe game, board games, books, river access, huge yard for running around. The location was perfect for access to Sequoia and we even did Kings Canyon one day, which was a beautiful 1.5 hour drive. The hosts are responsive and friendly. No water issues. House has tastefully done decor inspired by national parks and fishing. Small details like bath salts make the place feel warm and welcoming. Jorge and Cindy were kind enough to allow us to stay in their beautiful home during our trip to Sequoia National Park. It was very comfortable and the home was both clean and spacious. They were very responsive as well. I would highly recommend that anyone stay at this location.

This was such a lovely stay for myself, spouse and our friends. We came up for a trip to Sequoia National Park and King's Canyon and this home in Three Rivers was the perfect place to spend our time after hiking and exploring. We especially loved having access to the grill and being able to cook elaborately during our stay- the kitchen was well equipped and clean. The hot tub was also great after a long day of hiking. The home was clean, cozy and comfortable and we felt very at ease here. This neighborhood is quiet and very pretty and we loved waking up to seeing wild turkeys walking through the yard. There's a lot of beautiful nature around but it's also a very short trip to local shops and restaurants. My friend was so happy that this home is dog friendly too. Our host was very responsive and had helpful suggestions for our stay. I would love to stay here again in the future.

My family booked a 3 night stay at the Iris house, we felt right at home and ultimately my wife wished we booked a longer stay. House smelled and looked very clean upon arrival, instantly my 4 year old was excited for the board games, toys & books. My wife loved the house, and said it was cute & cozy. Our family & dog really enjoyed our time out back with plenty to do. Kermit was readily available for any questions or help. The neighborhood is quiet, even being close to a park and school. Nice area for morning and evening walks , and close to the main road for shopping and restaurants. Beds were clean and very comfortable, we will be back next year!

This house really felt like home. Beautifully updated old house. Beds were comfortable, the pillows are very soft. Neighbors were quiet aside from the occasional barking dog, or kids playing. The Shower pressure is to die for! As someone who needs “white noise” to sleep, I appreciated the portable fan! Hosts were responsive and friendly! Would definitely stay here again.

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at peace. The home was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything I needed for a relaxing getaway. Waking up to sweeping views of the foothills and the quiet charm of the countryside was magical. Lily is a great host who cares about her guests. Definitely recommend!

We are a return renter. We attend a local dog competition in Lindsay and the house is 9 minutes away so it is perfect for us. Monica was very responsive to our inquiries while we were there. We arrive late on a Thursday night and in the morning we realized on of the toilets was clogged and couldn't be cleared with a plunger. Monica promptly sent out a handyman to take care of it.

House was really well maintained. Spacious for multiple people to stay at and the amenities were fun to use. Would likely book again in the future.

Absolutely loved this property! It was much bigger than appeared in the photos and very peaceful and private. The shuffleboard game in the basement has become my new favorite game to play with friends. Shannon was very responsive and helpful with her messages, I highly recommend this property if you want to relax!

We stayed for just two nights in this beautiful RV, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is incredible, and the scent of the blooming trees in the evening was absolutely wonderful. The RV is surrounded by a fence, which made it feel very safe, especially important when traveling with a child. The moment we stepped inside, we were impressed by how clean it was—truly sparkling clean. My wife always carries alcohol and disinfecting wipes 😂, but for the first time, she didn’t feel the need to use them. All in all, it’s an amazing place. I highly recommend it. I really loved my time spent here. The bungalow is sooooo cute. Having coffee on the balcony overlooking the River and mountains was a great memory. Hosts were wonderful as were their furry friends. Excellent location to go into the park. I will be staying here again!

We loved this little place. It was so close to the jazz festival main venue that we could even walk them the hill. Sitting on the front porch one afternoon, I saw a couple of red headed woodpeckers, quail, scrub jays and lizards. Very peaceful.

My family and I stayed here for our Spring Break and used the house as 'home base' for multiple hikes in Sequoia National Park and Forest. It was in an excellent location, very well maintained, and spacious home. There was an awesome game room that our boys loved! Excellent communication with hosts as well. Three Rivers was an adorable town and we're very glad we stayed there! As a heads up to others, several cafe/restaurants are close-by, but the roads are not very walkable.

Our group had a great time at Lisa’s place. It looked just like the photos, if not better. The view from the kitchen was very scenic and the town was quaint and quiet. Plenty of deer in the town to see! The kitchen was sufficiently equipped to made a good meal and there were plenty of games to play. A perfect setting for making new memories with your friends and loved ones. The beds were a little too soft for our groups liking but were livable. Definitely worth checking out Belknap Camp and the Soda Spring not too far away. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend Lisa’s place for a quiet mountain getaway.
