Our stay with José was completely successful! The place was beautiful and the view of the horse meadow was simply fantastic. We especially liked the lovingly arranged breakfast basket in the morning – a great touch! Helping with the feeding of the animals was also a real highlight, especially for nature lovers. The possibility of taking small hikes over horse and cow meadows rounded off our stay perfectly. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back when we are in the area!

Very welcoming house and surrounding space. Very quiet space for those who need to relax / get out of the routine. The visit of the sheep at the end of the day was the most anticipated moment of the day. The Host was always impeccable, and present when needed. A word of appreciation to the cleaning team with whom we had the privilege of meeting at the time of check-out, who were very warm and welcoming.

Lovely stay in Portugal. The house was in a very quiet and peacefull area, we woke up with the birds every morning. The garden is very big and has sun the whole day. The pool is actually much bigger than it looks in the pictures. We really loved our stay, the house is very private and Catia was very friendly and helpfull. Also we loved the fresh vegetables from the garden so much! Would recommend to stay with Catia when you can.

Small friendly studio just lacks a little clarity but otherwise the location is very good for visiting all the cities around and the best thing is this large pool that allows you to cool off in the evening because it is a region where it can be very hot. There is a sunset from this property that is just beautiful!!! Thank you very much Tina!!!

We loved the stay! The house is a true haven in the middle of nature, perfect for resting and disconnecting from the world. The location, within the nature reserve, is simply wonderful. Edite was super friendly and tireless. Always willing to help and made us feel super comfortable. I recommend it!

Perfect for those looking for a few peaceful days to disconnect. Heitor and Bernardina are fantastic, they help with anything that is needed and we feel at home. These days were fantastic and we hope to return.

Very nice little house typical of the region. Beautiful exterior! The jacuzzi is a great plus to spend a great evening after a day of sightseeing in the area. Nothing was missing, everything was clean and functional, the equipment as well as the kitchen. Very welcoming host, bread and bottle of wine for us. Very convenient because you can park your car in front of the entrance door. Small downside with the shower in the bathroom that quickly becomes either too hot or too cold, but it's a detail. We'll come back to it without hesitation.

Authentic and beautiful place with an amazing view from the backyard. Monsaraz is one of the nicest villages in the neighborhood. All recommendations for both the location and accommodation.

Nice cottage! Everything you need to stay there for a while. You can wash your clothes, cook a meal yourself. Everything is present to make it a great stay. We were also surprised with a bottle of wine and a pack of biscuits. It is a good base to visit all sorts of things like Dark Sky reserve and Evora. Worth it!

I would recommend to anyone looking for a 5-star and 😊 super attentive getaway from the city.

I chose the place to spend my birthday in Évora with 3 more people and I only have positive things to point out! The location of the house is amazing, staying inside the Walls, which allows easy walking access to the most prominent places in the city. The atmosphere is super cozy and familiar and the house is prepared to ensure a great stay. Maria is a super helpful, worried and easy-to-communicate host, and still managed to surprise me by leaving a little cake to celebrate my birthday! Couldn't have had better experience, I highly recommend 😊

The house is located on one of the access roads to Monsaraz, with the windows closed it was still not loud. Despite the extreme heat (up to 44°), it was pleasant inside, even without turning on the air conditioning. Everything was clean and well maintained. We only missed simple utensils such as shower gel, coffee filters and spices. Nevertheless, recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay - watching the sunset over the vineyard, stargazing, and warming ourselves by the fire. A very peaceful and relaxing place to stay.

The house is wonderful and the outdoor space is also very pleasant. Everything we needed was available and we really felt a unique comfort. Andreia was always available and is undoubtedly a superhost! The house is also well located, being about 10m from Reguengos, where we have several services and 10m from Monsaraz to enjoy the most historic part and the river beach. We will definitely go back.

A traditional Portuguese house fully updated inside, very comfortable and well equipped. São Bartolomeu is small village but about only a half hour drive to Évora. Beautiful countryside, friendly people, a cafe, pub, and grocery store all a short walk from Rita’s place. It was a treat to spend a few days in São Bartolomeu Do Outeiro in a clean, cozy, and comfortable home. Highly recommend Rita’s place.
