  • Akbar made myself and my two friends feel very welcome. He allowed us to check in early and drop our luggage off whilst he got the appartment ready for us, as we had a very early flight. This helped us a lot because we didn't have to carry our suitcases around the city all morning. The apartment was very nice, it had an incredible view and was quite clean. The size was perfect for the three of us. He also allowed us to stay quite late on our check out day as we had a later evening flight. The location of the apartment was perfect as it was near the tram, train and close to a lot. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would definitely stay again when we go to Melbourne next.

  • Akbar had excellent communication before, during and after my stay at Cloud9. The room was neat and tidy with an incredible view of the city. The beds were very comfortable and the style of the room is very modern n cool. TV had good clear reception. WiFi was quick. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to get around as it is very central to the CBD. Price per night was fair. Overall a pleasure to stay at :)

  • This apartment is great - exactly as listed, including the stellar views from the 46th floor over Melbourne. It was spotlessly clean, and has all the facilities you can ask for. The location was great for me - minutes by foot from the Sky Bus terminal and Spencer Street Station, right in the Melbourne CBD.

  • We were very happy staying here. Dawei was really helpful letting us check out a bit later than usual and he keeps the place in great condition. Modern apartment with good air conditioning, kitchen, etc. Our only minor complaint was with the neighbors who were watching movies/listening to music with the volume pretty loud one evening.

  • Apartment completely as advertised, good location, large enough for 4 member family, not on the large side but enabled lots of interaction. Clean, well accommodated, fully appointed apartment. Highly recommended. Only hitch was the check in was a tad later than agreed, but after 12 nights of comfort and convenience, that was by no means a serious problem.

The Studio is smack bang in the middle of Fitzroy with 2 minute walking access to some of the best restaurants in Melbourne like the two hatted Cutler and Co and two bars nominated in the top 10 of Australia, the Everleigh and Gertrude St Enoteca. If its high fashion you are after then just head 100m down the road to Gertrude St where you can find all the fashion and design stores your wallet can handle. If that does not satisfy you, then the Studio is located just a short stroll from Melbourne CBD, and if you are after other adventures Carlton Gardens is 300m down the road and hosts the State Museum (featuring a giant aviary) and the IMAX theatre. Just across the gardens is Carlton or... little Italy, you can grab a tasty bite of pasta and an aperativ and towards the east is the hipster happening Collingwood (bring your own beard and skinny leg jeans). Want to go for a run? head off around Fitzroy Gardens to the south and then loop back around to the west to Carlton Gardens to see some of the most beautiful historical parks of Melbourne. The most reliable and frequent public transport is the 86 Tram, it a famous tram line in Melbourne for its eclectic vibe (trust me just ride it and smile at all the interesting people that live in Fitzroy). The 86 stop is located on Getrude st just 100m from the front door of the apartment block. There are also several other trams located 100m the other way on Victoria Parade towards the city. Walking and cycling is alway a great alternatives however we recommend using Uber taxis when you here. Taxis can be pretty unreliable in my experience however Uber has always been a great and cheap way to get around (I swear I'm not sponsored ;) just think its a great service)

  • Great location and cosy bed - ideal for what we were after. Unfortunately our stay was tarnished as the shower was not working (only produced scolding hot or freezing water) and after long days in the Melbourne winter we struggled to stay warm (and clean).

  • We had a lovely stay in Bree's studio. It was very clean and exactly as depicted, bright and cosy. The bed is very comfy, and linen and towels were very good. It is great value for money with it's excellent location - Brunswick, Gertrude and Smith Streets just a walk away, as were the Fitzroy and Carlton Gardens, the Museum and much more. Will definitely stay again and recommend to family/friends.

  • Bree was an excellent host and responded/answered any questions i had very quickly. The place itself was perfect for what we needed during our short stay in Melbourne. The kitchen had basic essentials such as oil salt, pepper, tea etc which was convenient for our home cooked breakfasts and dinners. the bed was super comfortable which was an added bonus after 3 long days of walking and the heater made it even more comfortable. The apartment is very close to the city and the tram was basically outside our door making travel convenient without a car and it was a short walk to lots of shops and restaurants. definitely recommend and will stay next time i visit melbourne

There are two resident cats available in the home. They own the place really. Their names are Jai and Raja, short for Thammaraja and Jai-Dee, Who are the friendliest and gentlest cats you'll ever meet. They force us to air BnB to satisfy their insatiable need for fresh steak tartare, champagne and peacock feather duvets. Help save us from the cat overlords! 😉

  • Andrew was a wonderful host for our weekend trip to Melbourne. He remained in contact with me as we were approaching Melbourne, and was able to check us in early when we arrived prior to expected. He showed us around and was incredibly welcoming, but also allowed us to have our own space and do as we wished without intruding. The apartment is right across from the Queen Victoria Markets (you can see it out the windows!) and is within the free tram zone, and only a few stops from the city circle trams, which made it really easy to get around. We had a car with us, which we parked in the alley behind the apartment. It was a metered space but reasonably priced. The apartment was clean and tidy, and the cats were gorgeous, as mischievous as they were! If you're lucky you might get to hear some of Andrew's brilliant opera voice too!

the hosts are very friendly person that love Asian, Western, and Italian culinary. almost everyday hanging out for looking a new food which Melbourne has great various restaurant. On the other hand, the hosts also recommend you to go to some parks. Melbourne CBD has a lot of park that you can go for exercise, jogging or hang out. Furthermore, Melbourne CBD has lot of spot for photographic activities, and lots of entertainment (you can go to g0ogle and type top destination Melbourne) the unit is only 1 mins walking from SkyBus, southern cross station, Tram station, Coles Supermaket, Spencer outlet center, Hungry Jack (24hr), Subway, Etihad Stadium. 5-10 mins by tram to Crown entertainment, Bourke street, Melbourne Central Mall, Emporium and Flinders Street

  • My wife and I only stayed at Rani’s apartment for a night. Rani was friendly, considerate and accommodating. We were welcomed by a juice which we really wanted after a long trip. Toothbrushes and clean towels are provided too. The apartment is close to airport shuttle bus and other amenities we wanted. We had a good breakfast with stuff she provided while we were enjoying looking at city center and Etihad stadium from 10th floor. All in all I think she offered a good deal for the money we paid.

  • This was our first experience of airbnb and we weren't sure what to look for when booking. We only noticed after the booking that it was for a shared living area (totally our own oversight!). If you like your own space then this is not the right place for you! Despite this Rani was an excellent host; she made it easy for us to check in and was very flexible with times etc. She gave us all the info and made sure it was easy for us to move around the apartment and use the buildings facilities (gym, pool, sauna). She even helped us with our laundry which was a lovely touch. She kept out of our way to ensure we had some privacy. We were the only guests for the first night of our stay, however the other room was occupied on the second. The apartment was very crowded and we could have struggled with this had we stayed longer. We would definitely recommend this listing to someone who is looking for budget accommodation and does not mind sharing a living space with others! If you are after a little more privacy however then book the room instead. The location is excellent with easy links to the rest of the city and the station/ airport.

  • The area was a shared space - a mattress in a living room with dividers. The location was awesome as it was just directly opposite Southern Cross station. However, getting up to the apartment require much co-ordination with the host (which was Rani's partner as Rani was not around at that time) due to the security limitations.
