  • We enjoyed our weekend stay here! Janet was really helpful meeting us at the unit and pointing us in the right direction for dinner. Not a far drive from downtown shops or Wooly Pig. Will stay here again next time!

    Alex2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a great place. The house was super comfortable and clean and Janet makes you feel very welcome.

    Rachael2019-07-15T00:00:00Z
  • What a perfect place. We came out to Coshocton for my birthday weekend and the farmhouse was more than I could have asked for. Freshly baked banana bread without nuts! So good. And Janet left a nice card with a “happy birthday” balloon and freshly cut flowers. We grilled maybe the best pork chops I’ve ever had from Wooly Pig Brewey (about 12 minutes up the road) and then finished the night with a fire at the firepit outside (plenty of wood stacked by the tree right next to the pit). The kitchen had all the supplies we needed and the bathroom was thoughtfully stocked with toiletries (and the softest towels I have ever felt). Thank you so much! We will definitely be back.

    Rob2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • This was a great house for us, and she made us banana bread!

    Kaylee2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Janet's place was more than our group could ask for. It was a nice quiet setting and close to everything we needed. Janet's hospitality was fantastic. It was nice sitting around the fire pit relaxing after some long days. Can't wait to stay again.

  • Awesome house, great amenities and wonderful location.

    Matthew2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • Janet's house is absolutely perfect! Cute, quaint, clean and with a fantastic host. Janet greeted me at check in and gave me a tour, had great host gifts and overall made our stay perfect. I can not recommend her place enough!

  • When we arrived we were met by Doug. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Talked to us about local things to do and see. The cabin was perfect. Semi close to the attractions we came to Ohio for. Unfortunately only just a few hours later we had to leave for a family emergency. I would stay there again, next time I was in that area of Ohio

    Angela2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • The cabin was very clean and decorated nicely. We were able to bring our two small dogs.

    Loretta2019-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • I recommend this to everyone, for anyone that just needs to escape. I could of spent a week there.

    Linda2019-07-05T00:00:00Z
  • This space was so neat! The cabin was the perfect size for my boyfriend and I (and our dog too). The interior was cozy and well decorated, and the porch was so lovely to sit on in the mornings. There are several other cabins near by, but they’re far enough away that we still felt secluded and like we had the place to ourselves. And we weren’t far from some pretty cool things like Historic Roscoe Village and Wooly Pig Brewery. Would definitely come back!

    Emily2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Very cozy cabin. Relaxing.

    Amy2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • The space is great as advertised. A good value for the area and nice to be right in the woods (though you will get a small amount of road noise depending on cabin choice). Be careful getting in and out of the tub depending on your level of mobility -- the high sides encourage you to sit down as you get out.

    Luis2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • A beautifully cozy cabin so convenient to the historic village. Quiet and peaceful- we wish the weather wasn't the hottest days of the year so we could enjoy the lovely porch more! Was not quite prepared for tall the steps to the cabin, but again the heat made them more challenging than they would be otherwise. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

    Sonya2019-09-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place is adorable! The drive up to the barn is soooo pretty, amazing amenities and super homey. Only issue we had was hot water tended to run out pretty quickly (within a few minutes) but we learned to shower quick over the weekend. Other than that, easily 5 star stay, would stay again.

    Paige2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This barn is gooooorgeous. A real antique, not just made up to look like it, but with every modern convenience. The kids adored the space, and honestly wanted to spend most of the time in the barn instead of doing activities! It was a perfect size, and everything we needed was at hand. The kitchen was well stocked, which saved us buying a lot of odds and ends with groceries. The beds are quite comfortable, and we loved how fun it was to be together in the loft for sleeping. Having a washer and dryer was a huge plus, and made our trip that much easier. The location is perfect as well. We were within a comfortable distance to everything we wanted to see and do. If we ever make a return trip, we would stay at the barn again in a heartbeat. We can’t recommend it enough.

the home was built in the 1840's .We are a bed and breakfast and have6 guests rooms. each has its own bathroom. Breakfast comes with the night stay. Filled with antiques and old charm. Located in historic Roscoe village.
tourist town and close to the park and ride the Canal boat
  • Last night, after a long trip, I stayed at the Apple butter inn, Coshocton. An amazing inn, which we found on Airbnb, is very affordable. It is said that the house was built in 1840. I was worried that I would encounter a house full of musty smell just like last summer holiday. But the introduction mentioned that the owner lives on the first floor. It gave a pleasant surprise. The house has two floors. Living on the second floor is accessed by a private staircase in the courtyard. It is filled with all kinds of antique furniture and ornaments. It's kind of European. The most unexpected thing is that each room has its own bathroom, which is private and convenient. Curt manages the house alone with his dogs. The house was built on a hillside, with huge sunny front porches and plants covering every corner. Although the house is old, it is comfortable and lovely. In the back yard, the apple trees are full of fruit and there are several small pools of red koi swimming around. I kind of want to stay and help Curt run this beautiful inn. Note to music fans, there is a lovely bar near Curt's house on the street at night, where people are happy to drink and listen to the band. I felt a small town in Europe. Coshocton is a historic town about 20 miles from an Amish village. This is the most beautiful and lovely family hotel I've ever stayed in. It's recommended. Don't forget to tell Curt that you read my words and that we love him and his house.

    David2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • very nice host, family inn style, the low price like youth hostel, maybe some other surprises.

    Zehua2019-08-23T00:00:00Z
  • Curt was a wonderful host who clearly has a lot of experience with guests.

    Maddy2019-07-07T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful quaint house! Curt is amazing- very friendly, and a great cook! Definitely stay for breakfast. We got to meet other couples that were staying during the family style breakfast and we had some great conversation. We stayed in room 3. Super cute and clean. We were able to hear music from the bar down the street late at night on Saturday, so I’d that bothers you bring your earplugs ;) It didn’t bother us really. Faint background noise. If you have time to kill, definitely do the living history tour (you can walk there from the house) and do the canal boat ride! Lots of great history and even better people! If you’re staying in Coshocton, you HAVE to stay here. Best place ever ❤️

"Glamping" What is it? Well, it's camping in a "glamorous", luxurious way. Have you ever wanted to camp but didn't want the hassles of pulling a trailer or setting up a tent? Don't like roughing it too much? Then this is the perfect opportunity for you to experience camping at a new level. We've done all of the prep work for you...you simply bring your clothes, personal items and food/drinks and you are all set! Plus, this is a vintage unit where you can relive the 70's.
Get reconnected to nature by exploring the woods, going on a wagon ride, sitting by the campfire roasting hot dogs and s'mores, taking a dip in the pool and more. The unit has two twin beds and the dining table converts to a full size bed. Ideally, this unit is for 2 adults but will accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The bathroom has a toilet and sink and you will be able to use the nearby bathhouse shower any time of the day. These are also coin operated washer and dryers at the bathhouse. All bedding is furnished along with 4 sets of bath towels. You will want to bring your own beach towels. Enjoy cooking outside using the charcoal grill and/or fire pit. Charcoal and firewood are available for purchase at the Camp Store. Other camping type items, candy, ice-cream, basic staples, pool toys and other items are available in the Camp Store as well.
You can get to Roscoe Village in 5 minutes and Amish Country in less than 30. Also, 13 local wineries, breweries and distilleries are within a 20 minute drive along with local cheese makers. Be sure to search ("Visit Coshocton") for a taste of what the area has to offer. HUNTERS: Coshocton County is a fabulous area for hunters and the county usually leads the state in number of deer taken each year. Woodbury Wildlife Area is less than 15 miles. On site is a Deer Processing Room complete with a walk-in cooler.

  • Great, clean and comfortable for 4 people. We enjoyed ourselves in Ryan's RV and campsite. I would highly recommend!

  • Cute little camper, nicely restored. Very clean and well equipped.

    Joelyn2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • What a gem truly. Especially in our host Ryan. He told us of a steam train roundhouse that had just opened to the public. We went and had a wonderful time. We would not have known about this if it hadn't been for our conversations in the campground office. We were centrally located to do so many things within an hours drive. We will come back again and again.

    Allison & Patrick2019-06-02T00:00:00Z
  • The Argosy was AWESOME. Ryan was a great host, Coshocton is beautiful, and the campground itself was immaculate. Everything was a breeze and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

    Lindsay2019-06-28T00:00:00Z
  • Great space, wonderful grounds, super friendly staff! We will be returning guests!

    Ashley2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • Ryan's rental "The Argosy" is a gem. I can't say enough about how fun it was to stay in the Airstream and hang at the KOA for the weekend. The space was fun and different and had all the amenities of a standard 5 star airbnb. The pool is clean and the grounds are well maintained. The owners and staff were incredibly friendly. If you stay in The Argosy for a weekend or night, don't miss stopping at the Wooly Pig Farm and Brewery up the street. It is a great way to spend the afternoon if you like good vibes and outstanding beer.

  • Shelly and her husband were excellent hosts. The house was absolutely beautiful and tidy. It actually looks bigger on the inside than on the pictures. The beds were so comfy and the kitchen area was very nice with lots of dishes. They gave us wonderful suggestions on where to go for entertainment and food. Absolutely a wonderful place to stay! Two big thumbs up!

  • We were warmly greeted by Shelley on arrival to this beautiful and peaceful area of Ohio. The purpose of our visit was to explore the Amish country, and this was a perfect location. Our accommodations were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The McPeek's were very welcoming and gave us many ideas of where to go to spend time, local places to eat, and directions on how to find our way around. We really enjoyed the time and wished we could have stayed longer.

  • I did not get to stay very long, but the time I had there was amazing. My favorite part was the view from where I was staying. The place was very clean and a great location.

  • Great experience in every way. Travelling from Florida to visit relatives in southeastern Ohio, we found guest house to be a refreshing escape from the drudgery of a typical hotel stay. Spacious, spotless, comfortably furnished and well equipped, it exceeded our expectations! Kid-friendly yard with excellent privacy. Set on a hill with lovely wooded areas partially surrounding, separated by breathtaking views of the rolling rural countryside for miles. It was easy and convenient to reach local stores (don't miss Pearl Valley Cheese!) and explore the Amish community (go slow enough and you'll get a friendly wave from all the horse-and-buggy drivers). We couldn't have asked for more kind-hearted and attentive hosts than John, Shelley and Ryan, and their spirit of hospitality made us feel right at home. Big 5 stars!

  • Shelley´s place is one VERY large room that feels like a complete apartment. There are two large beds at one end and an enormous, comfortable sofa group in the middle, with a nice bathroom on the side and a kitchenette at the far end. Everything was very clean, tastefully decorated, and everything we needed was there and easily found. Communication and check-in were quick and uncomplicated, and Shelley even figured out the CD player for us so we could watch movies on the large screen that was mounted there. It´s a very quiet location, off the beaten path, which is what we were looking for. Great in every way.

  • This was the perfect place to stay for our visit to Roscoe Village. The location was peaceful and the cabin was super-clean and though not huge it feels quite spacious. The AC worked well in the hot weather. The big bed in the main bedroom was very comfortable for my wife and me and the futon in the loft, while smaller, worked well for two young adults. The loft area up above the living room is very cosy and would be a really fun place for kids to sleep.

  • A nice relaxing space to sit out on the porch and eat dinner and listen to nature.

  • Charlene was a great host, with quick communications and easy check-in. We loved that the cabins are dog friendly and she made it easy for us to bring our two dogs. (A tip to dog owners, the cabins on the hills require about 30-40 stairs to get up and down, so keep that in mind in case you have furry friends that require being let out often!) There's a park just down the road and easy access to Roscoe Village. We enjoyed our relaxing stay and would recommend these cabins.

  • The host canceled this reservation 2 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.

  • This was a great place for a getaway couples weekend. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Lovely porch for relaxing and reading. We walked into Roscoe Village. It was walkable, but it’s not a flat walk. We did fine but if you have issues going up and down hills you could easily drive it. We always found parking when we needed it. Thank you for a great stay, Charlene! I hope we get to come back!

Nearly 2500 square foot log home, newly restored, surrounded by 6+acres of woods. Short travel distance to Amish Country, several lakes, wineries and much more. Access to private lake stocked with beautiful, coloful koi, sand beach and usage of our kayaks. All next door to our Koi breeding farm! Access to close to 100 acre private hunting ground coming in 2018/2019 hunting season. Please inquire about details and price!
Newly restored 30+ year old log home in a rustic country setting, surrounded by 6+ acres of woods. Encounters with wildlife like deer, raccoons, opossum, geese, ducks and many small animals to be expected. We started our restoration in September of 2017 and our main concentration was the building itself (log restoration by TIMELESS TIMBERS, Strasburg Ohio) and the inside. We completely gutted the inside of the Lodge and with the help of pinterest ideas, came up with many custom builds. We have well water, which can have a sulfur smell and also cause iron residue, neither is harmful! We are a hunting/vacation Lodge, so part of our decore are animal mounts, you may want to prepare your smaller children! For the next step we are working on the outdoor part with the demolition of an old barn and landscaping as Ohio weather and our schedule permits us to do. The Lodge location is on the hillside of Coshocton surrounded by dirt roads, uneven walking ground and muddy areas during rainy season. We also have spotty cell service, no Wi-Fi or cable as of right now. We supply tv's with dvds and videos to watch. You are close to 19000 acres of public hunting ground. Access on a dirt road to a small private swimming lake with beach in the summer time. Only 5 minutes to Roscoe Village and within 30 to 60 minutes to Amish Country, Tappan, Dillon and Saltfork lake. We want you to enjoy our LODGE as much as we do. We are very proud of our accomplishments thus far and continousely are working on improvements to make this an exciting vacation spot for you in Coshocton. Thank you for your interest!
Country living in a spacious all wood log Cabin surrounded by 100+ acres of mostly woods, but close to the town of Coshocton and Roscoe Village.
  • Beautiful place in a gorgeous, rural location. Very roomy. As long as you're expecting to not have cell service or internet, this place has everything else you need for a nice weekend getaway.

    Aaron2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Awesome cabin for a getaway weekend. Grill and fire pit are perfect for the evenings and the lake is convenient to get to and filled with Koi fish to see!

    Matthew2019-08-04T00:00:00Z
  • This place is beautifully renovated. We had 6 adults and 5 kids for a weekend and we never felt cramped or crowded. The private lake and kayaks were an added bonus, stores were nearby for anything forgotten or needed, and Gabriele was helpful for any questions or needs.

    Erin2018-07-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great time. It was very clean and much more than we expected. The 2 bathrooms made it so much better for us all to get ready in the morning. The AC worked wonderfully even up stairs for such a large cabin. The owners are only a short walk away and were very accommodating for us. The cabin was fully stocked with anything we could want, (Plates, silverware, paper towels, bottled water, toiletries, movies, board games, grill, fire pit, AC, etc...) We will be going back next year.

  • Ye Olde HillBilly Lodge is a clean and spacious place to stay. There is no cell reception and wifi as they stated but I could get a signal a little ways down the road. The koi farm and the lakefront beach access are a wonderful feature! There was a strong sulfur smell from the water but we just bought our own drinking water. Many stores right near by. We will surely book again if we are ever in the area again! Hosts are very attentive and responsive

    Ron2018-06-29T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was amazing and would definitely stay again! The perfect get away

    Wesley2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • The hosts, Gabrielle and Clifford, were extremely accommodating, helpful and friendly! The log cabin was spacious and had special details to make it cozy and comfortable. We used this place while we rented our home on AirBNB and highly recommend it for a peaceful getaway!

This late 70's Airstream Argosy has been completely overhauled to give you a retro-modern camping experience. The unique camper makes for an awesome weekend! Enjoy the beautiful swimming pool, family activities on the weekends, and the corn maze in the fall.
The Argosy II is a 1979 Argosy 30 model with a lot of modernization. It features 2 twin beds and a Queen size fold down bed. Enjoy the full kitchen, full bath, and outdoor space with a gas grill. If you need more bathroom space the campground also offers a bathhouse.
The Coshocton KOA is located in a rural setting surrounded by farm fields and a residential street. We're about 2 miles from the nearest store and 5 miles from the main town. At the campground we're busy on summer and fall weekends and a little quieter through the week. Staying at the Argosy gives you access to the pool, corn maze and other great activities.
  • What a wonderful space! Pictures don’t do it justice. We had an excellent stay in the Argosy II on a last minute getaway from Columbus. Space is exceptionally clean, everyone we dealt with was overtly friendly, and the amenities at the campground were perfect. Can’t wait to go back!
