My boyfriend unfortunately had crutches for the weekend, but we were able to rent a wheelchair close by (eaux clair market is just next door). We had an amazing time near the bow river and would def consider renting here again.

  • The condo is centrally located. It is clean and chic. The host respond in a timely manner to messages. The condo is next to a park and a shopping center. It is a quiet and safe area for a family. I love the entire condo. It is super clean. My 23 months old decided to lay on the floor most of the time and was not a bit worried about the cleanliness of it. Overall, it is a great place to stay and will highly stay there again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place to lodge in Calgary.

  • Look no more. This is a place with excellent cleanliness, comfort, space, and view. The view is almost panoramic, in the top corner unit of a building at the heart of Chinatown, Calgary. I took a nap in the afternoon, and it was so quiet despite the busy traffic downstairs. Owner is very thoughtful, preparing clean towels, water bottles, all wanting his guests to feel like home. The balcony had a breathtaking view of the River. Incredible value, and hospitable owner Alan.

  • We had a great time at Alan's place in Calgary. Everything was there that we needed, fully equipped kitchen, bed linen, bathroom, washing machine. The apartment was newly outfitted and had a large balcony overlooking the river, and big windows with a view to the city on the other side. Alan was responsive and met us in person to show us the place. The location was excellent, it was right in China town, so lots of great food options around, and just a 10 min walk to the main shopping street in downtown. The only thing was that we would probably have liked, would be to pay a little extra to get wifi, as it would have been convenient for trip planning, but can't really complain for the great value!

    A place that anyone can call home! Whether you're on a business trip wanting a close walk to the office, friends or couples visiting our fair city, or a family on vacation, this condo is perfect for your stay. Close to Prince's Island Park in the heart of the noted Eau Claire area, this condo highlights what's great about living downtown! Close walking distance to multiple office buildings, restaurants, historic Chinatown, parks, shopping - this space is truly a gem among gems!
    There is one parking spot available for your stay in the underground secured parking lot with easy access to the elevator to send you up to your suite. Open your front door and you'll see a nice setup for your shoes and jackets so you won't be tripping over anything! Included in your stay is your own in-suite washer and dryer behind closet doors off the foyer. A definite bonus to not have to pack as much stuff! As you walk in, the kitchen greets you first where its equipped with a full size refrigerator with freezer bottom, gas powered stove top, oven, microwave and dishwasher. All kitchenware is for you to use at your leisure. A great little nook with a table set for 4 makes it perfect for when you want to relax and dine in! The cozy living room has a nice comfortable L-shaped couch that could trap you into watching Netflix all day long! Just log into your account and binge away on the 65 inch smart screen! The two bedrooms are separated by the common area so plenty of privacy for each twosome! Each bedroom has a comfy queen bed with ample closet space and a 45" TV for when you can't agree on what to watch ;) The master bedroom has an full ensuite bathroom with a standing shower while the other full bathroom (with a shower/tub combo) is right beside the second making it accessible to the common area. There is a charming patio off the nook area where you can sit and take in the sites of living riverfront!
    Like I said before, you are in a GREAT spot! Some highlights around the area are: Prince's Island Park - such a nice area to walk around and take in nature at its best! There is usually some sort of festival going on every weekend in the summer that you can check out! A super delicious restaurant that sits right in the middle of the park is River Cafe and its ambiance is second to none. Eau Claire Market - home to a local stores and businesses, a movie theater, coffee shops and eats, this unique space is ever evolving! Chinatown - there are MANY restaurants to check out in and around these blocks run by our Asian community! A few that are favorites of mine are 1Pot (an all you can eat hot pot fun spot!), Point Sushi (little mini bullet trains bring your orders!), Vic's Hong Kong Style BBQ & Cafe (the roasted pork is must!) and Golden Inn (a late night staple for those hungry after a night out!). You are also lucky enough to be surrounded by Bubble Tea shops galore! Two of my faves are Gong Cha and Try Again.

  • This is a great and modern urban condo, I was right in in the heart of the city and on the river. I went for a run each morning before my meetings on the trails right next door and coffee in the market. I was able to make use of the lounge on the main floor to meet with some clients, it was extremely useful. Una made sure that the keys were available even though my flight didnt get in until very late, and also made sure I had everything I needed, and was very quick to respond to my questions. I would absolutely stay here again and recomend to all.

  • This is a great place to stay in the CORE of Calgary. Fantastic location in one of the newest and best complex's in Au Claire. Super convenient to major companies on 4th Ave, walking and running on the river, convenience stores, and some nice places to eat nearby. Unit is super clean, very comfortable, with high end finishing's and nice touches. I really liked the big modern kitchen table island with the bar stools for working. The host is super attentive and really cares about the quality of your stay. Host provided a laminated card with detailed instructions for anything you wanted to know about the unit or complex. I had a couple of questions and she immediately got back to me. I had a great experience and look forward to going back in the future.

Fresh linens and lots of closet space for your clothes. Fresh salt water pool, gym and sauna for you to enjoy until 11pm. This is a downtown location so it is noisy. I have provided ear plugs if you need them. Make yourself at home. This is a shared apartment with possible other guests in the other room.
    We are within 2 blocks of dozens of the hottest places in Calgary to eat or go for a drink. Only a few blocks from the stampede grounds. 2 blocks from great food and shopping on the trendy stephen avenue. Anything you need is within walking distance or just hop on the train. This place is as central as it gets. Oh and of course SAFE!
  • I had a busy itinerary outside of Calgary, so Addison and I were ships in the night. Great location, and if you are a night owl, great, as the city is busy over the weekend nights I was there. The other guests were left to tell me the wifi and show me my room, so missed the feeling I was sharing a home. Addison was kind enough to lend me his car parking pass, which was appreciated. A good crash pad, with a comfortable bed and cityscape views.

Medium and small dogs are welcome, condo bylaws do not allow large dogs over 20lbs. There is a very nice gym in the building along with steam room and hot tub.
    The unit is on the fourth floor of a 4 story building so no one to bother you from above and there is only one neighbor to the side. Peace and tranquility is all yours!
    The location cannot be beat! Joey Eau Claire and the Barley Mill pub are steps away along with other great bars and restaurants.

I try to keep it feeling alive with smart lights and greenery, but also with personal quirks on the walls, lots of table space for evenings in to get creative with, and a couple wonderful views. *I also have a closet I designed just for you or two, if you're willing to check out something a little different and comfortable in a space unlike anything you've experienced indoors before.
    My home is close to quite a bit of night life being in the heart of downtown and having a view of Calgary's heart (the Calgary Tower). The balcony is fitted with wood tilling which is lovely to spend some time on and take in the surrounding area at a glance. Carpet keeps your feet warm, the kitchen and bathroom is yours to use, the walls entertain and your sleeping quarters is closed off for your privacy, yet leads into to the main sharing spaces with ease. Everything is set up to be to your convenience with room for improvement by your suggestion.
    Calgary is a place with sporadic weather and polite people. It's an adventure every day and nothing stays stagnant here. It'll keep you on your toes, but you're sure to find some reason to enjoy your stay. Downtown is the eclectic core of the city that stretches in directions with ease. With a grid like street and avenue system, it's easy to navigate and difficult to get lost, but fun when you do.

It is a few blocks away from shopping, Prince's Island Park, lovely restaurants and the C-Train Tracks. This apartment is located in a new and modern building which has Air Conditioning and heated bathroom floors. You will have the use of the entire apartment including an en-suite washer & dryer while you stay.
    This is a quiet and tidy apartment. You will enjoy the serene view of the river from the home and if you want to go for a walk or run, the paths are right across the road. This place comes with: - Wifi and Cable TV - Air Conditioning and Heated Bathroom Floors - Quick access to McLeod Trail, Memorial Drive, and Deerfoot Trail.

    This is a corner den private room with twin size sleeping arrangements, metal loft frame, covered by curtains. Bottom bed is a super nice pillow top Westin hotel heavenly bed made by Simmons, upper bunk is a spring mattress. Duvet liners, fitted sheets and pillow covers are promised washed between each guest. For single traveler with light baggage will suggest to use the bottom bed, if you are bringing more luggages it’s better to sleep on the top and use the bottom space for luggage storage. There is a Tim Hortons and many other restaurants in the same block, a convenient store right next door, free fare train take you tour downtown!   • The room is perfect in every aspect except one. The room is clean, well equipped and located. Also Fanfan is communicative, helpful and very nice lady. However, one thing, probably not perfectly clear stated or can hardly expected is that: The bunkbed is located in the living room, which Fanfan leased out, with open kitchen, opposite to the door of another room Fanfan leased too. Therefore, in order to make sure the privacy of everyone, the guys in living room and the room opposite, the curtain around the bunkbed is a must. Therefore, the sqr of the bunkbed area is only around 2sqr. And curtains are must! So it is extremely hot in the bunkbed. We can hardly fall asleep in early June.

There is a washer and dryer on the floor for a fee.
    Many restaurants and bars, Core shopping center, Calgary tower and the new Central library are all within walking distance! The C-train is located just one block away and you can ride within downtown area for free! It is only three short blocks walk to the river walk which takes you to Eu Claire and Prince Island park!

    Welcome to the heart of Downtown Calgary. Our beautiful, fully furnished, the private condo is full of natural light, floor to ceiling windows and boasts an open concept layout for very spacious living; 1200 sq ft with a large balcony to enjoy sunsets! We are situated in the downtown core of Calgary and on the doorstep to parks, green spaces, the Bow river, many shops, and businesses. One block away from the Sheraton Hotel.
  • Start off by saying that Anne's place is located in a good but not great spot if you are looking for a more central location. It is on the edge of the downtown core; so it can be a longer walk if you are trying to get places but also don't have to deal with the downtown noise and bustle. The view of the river is very nice from the balcony. The check-in can be a bit confusing. Once we made it to the key box there were no keys there so we had to call Anne and wait about 20 minutes for her to drop of the keys. Once we got into the unit it looked like it hadn't been properly cleaned. On the balcony we found a champagne bottle cap, cigarette butts, ash, and the floor was quite sticky. There were stains on the carpet and sliding door for one of the bedroom and the upholstery on some of the coaches was starting to rip. Also in the check out instructions Anne states to make sure that you clean everything in the unit so I don't know why a cleaning fee is charged; seeing as you have to clean and when we checked in it didn't look the unit was professionally cleaned. Also the freezer stopped working on the second day and all the ice and ice-cream we had bought melted and needed to be thrown out. I mentioned to Anne that there would be 4 of staying at the place there wasn't enough cups and plates for everyone. Even though TV is listed as one of the amenities it isn't hooked up to anything so it literally just turns on but doesn't play anything. After my experience I probably would not stay here again.

  • Amy's place is great. From the lovely veiw of the Bow River on the balcony, to the firm bed and the wonderful heated floor in the bathroom. Being able to make coffee and cook breakfast and wash some clothes midweek, just some of the amenities Amy has thought off. Very secure building. Would definitely stay here again.

    I love being right beside the extensive park and river. I enjoy doing the stairs up McHugh Bluff with the beautiful view of the city.and mountains. The building is very safe and secure with front desk staffed 24hrs.

  • Great central location right in downtown Calgary, A clean and well equipped modern suite. Big bonus was free parking. Really nice walks nearby along the Bow river, with a short walk (20 min) along the river to cool shops and eateries in hip Kensington. Barb was a great host, highly recommended.

  • After staying in few other airbnb places in Calgary downtown I can say that Barb's place is one of the best I stayed in. Excellent location with parks and plenty of bars and restaurants within a walking distance, spotless clean, good layout and lots of space for 1-2 people. Great value if you are on personal or business trip in the area.

As she was out-of-town when we were checking in, she made sure to provide detailed instructions on how to check-in, and was very responsive on any of our inquiries and requests prior and during our stay. Furthermore the apartment itself is beautifully decorated and very serviceable, having everything that would be needed and more. The location is fantastic, just a short walk along the Bow River. Furthermore it is a an easy walk to all the spots in downtown Calgary. I would highly recommend staying at Barb's place!

  • Amy is a kind and welcoming person. It was great to meet her and be able to stay in her place. The condo was clean and had more amenities than I expected. It was quiet and the bed was comfy.   • Lets start with the Host, Amy is a wonderful host, she was very accommodating and very flexible. She responds quickly and is always a pleasant to speak to. Now her place, ive stayed in two places here while visiting, and its been so fresh and so clean. Everything i needed was there. All the kitchen utilities are available. The location is amazing , and right across you either have the river view or the city view which is very nice. Definitely recommend this place :)
