Studio apartment in historic South Wedge multi-family home with private kitchen, bath, and independent entrance. Stay in one of Rochester's most popular urban neighborhoods! Walk to parks, library, grocery, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. Access to University of Rochester, Highland Hospital, and Strong Memorial Hospital in minutes via UR shuttle. City bus stops a block in either direction. Great home base for Rochester's many festivals. Easy 10 min cab or Lyft to/from airport.
Cozy and conveniently located Studio apartment. Beautiful exposed brick and bay windows overlooking a neighborhood park. Plenty of natural light. Dedicated kitchen and full bath. Perfect place to rest your head and launch your adventures during any visit to Rochester! Kitchen is well-stocked -- Guests have everything they need for a coffee break, takeout, or even a home cooked meal! Appliances include a pod-style coffee maker, microwave, stove, oven, and refrigerator with freezer. Cups, mugs, dishes, and silverware provided. Pots, pans, cooking basics (utensils, oil, salt & pepper) provided. If you need something in particular, we are happy to lend items from our own kitchen, so just let us know in advanced. Mostly private -- There is a locked room in the back of the Studio that we use as a workspace when the Studio is unoccupied. Depending on exact dates and length of your stay, we may need to access the workspace, which requires we enter and walk through the Studio. If this applies to your stay, we will let you know when booking. Babies welcome -- For babies under 6 months, we have an awesome SNOO smart bassinet. Otherwise, you will have to bring your own port-a-crib. The Studio is not really suitable for toddlers or young children as neither the kitchen or bath are child-proofed. Noise -- Guests should be aware that the Studio is part of a 4-unit building in an urban neighborhood. Expect normal levels noise from car- and foot-traffic. Also, some noise from other units, especially the unit above where we live, can carry into the Studio. We have kids, so there is a chance you'll hear us as we ready them for school or cajole them to bed. There is also a beautiful park across the street that is popular place for children to gather after school. On sunny days, you can expect to hear laughter and play, though the elevation of the house provides privacy.
Rochester's South Wedge is truly the perfect urban neighborhood! Walking distance to parks, library, grocery, as well as numerous bars and restaurants. Swiftwater Brewing, Solara, and Equal Grounds are some of our favorites.
  • Great location, nice space. Close to a great little co-op market where I was able to pick up some healthy/organic food to prepare. Highly recommended!

Sunny, 2 level apt, in rear of house, that is a short walk to the U of R with plenty of space/parking. One bedroom with lots of characters as well as a futon in the living room in restored mansion on Mt. Hope. There is a fully equiped kitchen, spiral staircase, and 1 and 1/2 baths. It has a separate entrance, and is approximately 1,000 square feet. Set on a peaceful acre of land along the Genesee River. Enjoy Rochester from this historic mansion with tons of character and charm.
Recently refurbished with new wood floors, cabinets, countertop and paint, yet still maintaining the character of what used to be the "servants quarters". It is PERFECT if you are visiting the U of R! We live in the rest of the house and are excited to have you stay! Note: It does have a narrow spiral staircase to the loft bedroom.. We also have another apartment listed on Airbnb, be sure to check it out! Apt #2. We do not charge an additional cleaning fee, as we think this should be included in the price.
We moved to this amazing house in September 2014 and have been working non-stop to restore some of it's original beauty. We are bordered by the U of R property and the U of R provost lives across the street! We are close to downtown and the South Wedge has lots of great eateries and pubs as well as a new microbrewery steps down the hill. Our house is on an acre of land overlooking the river and the U of R. We are 4 houses away from beautiful Mount Hope Cemetary.
  • A friend of the hosts was very welcoming and showed us the whole apartment and attached house. The whole property including the large front and back yards is very beautiful. The property is only a few minutes from the University of Rochester as well as the downtown and just a short drive from the airport. Its very quiet and spacious, and it definitely had a historic feel to it. The hosts were detail oriented and stocked the place with a few things like snacks and coffee. Additionally, we were given flowers one day that were really nice. Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again.

  • We greatly enjoyed our stay! The apartment was updated enough to be very comfortable while still maintaining the lovely charm and details of an old house. We enjoyed having a kitchen to cook in and an adorable upstairs to sleep in separate from the rest of the apartment. We would definitely go back if we are in the area again. Wonderful get away!

    Bethany 2016-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Laura and Michael's place is exactly as described (pictures do not do justice)! They're so close to an array of restaurants, "college town," South Wedge and a short drive from downtown bars. It took us about 10 minutes to get to the airport. We appreciate clean towels, fresh lines and cold Genessee Cream Ales! Our favorite part were their cats who greeted us every time we came back to the apartment. A must see for sure!

    Jill2016-12-06T00:00:00Z
  • This place was excellent. Special little touches throughout that we really appreciated. Thanks again!!

    Nicole2018-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great place. This unit does have a narrow spiral staircase between the floor with kitchen and living area, and the upstairs bedroom and bathroom. All are lovely and I found it no problem, but it might not work for some

    Harold2017-10-15T00:00:00Z
  • The place is close to the university and very nice and clean.

    Reena2017-08-25T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Laura's place was really nice. I was a little worried as this was my first airbnb stay. The home was lovely and all ammenities were provided. It was a good distance from UR. The room also had free water bottles, tea, hot chocolate, and coffee available. Definitely would stay again.

    Tabatha2017-04-25T00:00:00Z
  • My stay at Michael and Laura’s place was a great way to wind down in the evenings after a hectic client visit. The location is lovely, & I only wish I had more time to explore the surrounding area. The space was cozy and unique, which I always look for in an Airbnb listing. Booking and check-in were easy. Thanks, Michael and Laura!

  • Kate is a wonderful host— warm and welcoming. She gave us lots of recommendations about the surrounding area. The house has three floors. The first floor is a separate Airbnb. The second floor has a shared (very sweet) kitchen and dining room. And the third floor is where this loft Airbnb is located. The host described the loft Airbnb as “a work in progress” but it was so spacious and nice she could keep it exactly as is! The space has several “nooks” — a double bed and writing desk— a single bed and a bedside table— and a day bed. This Airbnb has its own full bathroom. My mom and I arrived really late at night, but she had a welcome note on the writing desk, and when we walked down to the shared kitchen in the a.m. there were bagels and coffee ready! She was great at communicating quickly and clearly. Overall great experience!

  • If you're looking to stay in the best part of Rochester all while having a comfortable place and a wonderful host, this is the place you want to be!

    Leslie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Kate’s lovely, rambling house is on a quaint residential street but convenient to shops, UR, MCC, and RIT. I was grateful for the easy parking, the very comfortable bed, and the great morning light. Kate is a superlative host who makes you coffee and has plenty of fruit and yogurt in supply to get your day started. For coffee or tea, she had half & half and almond milk. If you prefer 2% milk, pick some up; there’s room in the fridge for your necessities. The studio is spacious and quaintly furnished, though some of the fixtures were unfinished during my stay. It added to the charm. Kate is a warm, responsive host and she’s very generous. She had wine waiting in the fridge when I finished a long day of getting my son settled at college. I had the top floor to myself, but Kate was easily found on the premises to chat or answer questions. I appreciated when we swapped child-launching stories one morning over coffee. My stay was like a fantasy of what it would be like to visit with relatives and still have the freedom to do my own thing.

  • Kate was a wonderful host! She was right there at check in and showed me everything I needed to see. The house is very easy to access and there was always street parking the entire time I came and went. The space is cute and unique. I would definitely stay with Kate again in the future!

  • Great location, great space at the price point.

    Colin2019-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • This is a newly acquired home by the host. That being said, many of the essential items were not in place as i was one of the first guests to rent here (I did get a 20% discount cuz i was one off the first 3 to stay!) There are many levels to this home, doorways and staircases. It would make for a mean mean game of hide and go seek! Since I received a decent discount and the home was just purchased, I'll go easy on this review. Adam was very responsive with communication and provided everything I needed to make my stay more inviting. Give him a try and see how he's come along with the place!!!!

  • Nice 1 night stay at Adam's beautiful house in Rochester as we were passing through town. Our room was huge and very clean, and had access to excellent bathroom and kitchen facilities (presumably shared with the other Airbnb rooms in the house but never met anyone else so felt like our own). We got a bit lost on check in but Adam was there to help us out. Would recommend.

  • Great experience - Anya was quick to respond to questions. The studio is clean and cute, just as it appears in the photos.

    Lauren2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Anya has done a wonderful job in her AIRBNB. It is very clean, very stylish and very comfortable, right down to the pillows. . I cannot recommend this place enough. I will stay here anytime I have to stay in Rochester. Thank you, Anya.

    Lisa2018-05-30T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay! The place is lovely and super conveniently located. Anya was so communicative throughout our stay should we need anything, but the studio apartment is so well put together that we didn't need a thing! Also worth mentioning: the bed is super comfortable!! The rest of the apartment is also really cozy and easy to relax in. Loved it!

    Christina2018-01-22T00:00:00Z
  • Really charming studio apt in historic Corn Hill area that we had all to ourselves with off street parking. The place was so charming and decorated beautifully. Super comfy bed. Anya was very hospitable and quick to respond to messages. Would definitely recommend!

  • Great location, lovely neighborhood. Convenient to all areas.

    Janet2017-06-20T00:00:00Z
  • This adorable studio was my first airbnb experience and it was a great one! I was only there for a short night and wish I had more time. The neighborhood is charming and safe and was a short Uber ride away from downtown and the concert I attended. There were so many small touches that made this feel like home, especially if you are there for a longer visit. I wish I had time to enjoy the little patio. The decor was chic and the studio was clean. Looks just like the pictures. I did not meet the hosts but Anya answered my questions and provided plenty of information. The stairs are a little narrow and tricky with suitcases but no big deal. I would definitely return.

    Jennifer2018-06-06T00:00:00Z

  • Centrally located to a number of great places to eat/drink, within walking distance of the convention center, the Strong Museum, and the Genesee Riverway Trail, Ann had a delightfully clean and cozy place for me to make headquarters while I was attending a conference. Ample closet space was great for my suits, which I really appreciated, along with the parking provided. She was responsive to my messages and had a couple of good suggestions for food and drinks nearby. Checking in and checking out were a breeze -- it was one less thing I had to worry about after five hectic days of work. I would highly recommend stay here if you get the chance!

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, public transport, and nightlife. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy bed, and the ambiance. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families (with kids). and big groups (we have FOUR completely independent rooms with all amenities each). Think of a mini Hotel thats complete self serve like Yotel NYC.
Our place is quite unique in that we are in a great location and the spaces are easy to access, easy to get out and about and enjoy Rochester's food, art and entertainment scene all while being close to the heart of downtown. I can say with certainty that our approach to the Airbnb experience is unique and we think you're gonna love it!
We are right in the middle of the very best of Rochester, walking distance from the major museums, arts and entertainment, the convention center in a five min drive, East Ave is beautiful to walk, ride or bike, the Neighborhood of the Arts is right here and we have the best of the food experience with dozens of great places to choose from and most are walking distance.
  • John's place was excellent! Very clean, modern, and comfortable. Great location and easy access. John was extremely responsive and helpful. I highly recommend saying at John's in Rochester!

    Megan2017-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Clean, modern, hotel like room 10 mins walk from downtown (20 mins from Amtrak) in nice and upcoming area. Also 20-30 mins walk to Eastman museum etc. Rochester centre is currently being modernised but this street seemed one of the best in the immediate area. The 'little theatre' nearby was a nice spot for some live music and the grocery store out the back was excellent, including deli and sandwiches etc. We would stay again.

    Darren2017-09-27T00:00:00Z
  • Great room. Comfortable accommodations in a central location

    Jay2017-05-12T00:00:00Z
  • I am familiar with Rochester. John's place is a very convenient location and excellent accommodations. I will definitely return.

  • This was a great location for the Fringe Festival. The room was exactly as pictured. A little small, but nice, modern and comfortable.

    Christopher2016-09-20T00:00:00Z
  • I always love staying in John's units. The coded entry helps when I need to get top Rochester at odd hours. John is a very conscientious host and provides a great space and hospitality. I highly recommend staying here!

    Lauren2017-11-30T00:00:00Z
  • John was very accomodating and quick to respond with our early/late check-in/check-out times. Room was very clean and well furnished. Just a heads up re: privacy -- walls are pretty thin and our bathroom door was actually a sliding barn door. Luckily we are an old married couple so it didn't bother us too much :)

    Darcy2017-05-29T00:00:00Z
  • This place was perfect. We attended a wedding downtown and this was a nice walk from the venue. Cute part of downtown. Get's real city nightlife for ya late night but it's safe. The place is nice, really comfy, and really easy. Definitely recommend it over traditional hotels.

  • Great place! Definitely an old house but charming and comfortable. The only downside is that the walls are thin and you can hear the neighbors talking/dogs barking, though it was quiet at night.

    Alex2019-05-05T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment was exactly what we expected and impeccably clean. Great neighborhood and friendly hosts. Much recommended :)

  • The Whipple House is in a beautiful neighborhood close to great places to eat and the University of Rochester. The apartment is warm and cozy with great character! It is an excellent value. We have stayed there 3 times so far and plan many more visits.

    B.P.2019-05-08T00:00:00Z
  • First of all, the location was perfect for our purposes - splitting time between the U of R (5 minutes or less away) and the Alexander Street area. Being able to walk to Tap & Mallet is an added bonus! The apartment is very spacious and was clean and comfortable. Very easy check-in (key in lockbox - we arrived after midnight). The shower curtain was in a bad state (completely ripped off the rings) when we arrived, but when I mentioned it to the host, she came to the door with a new shower curtain within a couple of hours! So, the host is incredibly responsive and helpful. The space is a bit older, and didn't seem to have a way of regulating the thermostat for the unit, and during the night we were sometimes a bit warm (thanks, unpredictable Rochester springtime!). Also, because it's an older house converted into apartments, be prepared to be able to hear the other tenants very clearly - we could hear conversations, dog barking, laundry running, etc. It wasn't a problem (no noise at night), but worth noting. (My home is in a similar style building, so it was par for the course for me and not bothersome.) Off-street parking was great, and the little touches (peppermint patties in the bedroom, granola bars on the dining room table) were thoughtful! The clawfoot tub is vintage and cool-looking, but takes a little getting used to if you're more accustomed to a modern tub/shower (i.e. very little space to set out your shower items), but contributes to the vintage vibe of the space. The tub would be problematic for someone with limited mobility (you have to step pretty high to get in), but was fine for us. All-in-all, the unit was both spacious and cozy, and again, the location can't be beat. Thanks for a lovely stay!

    Genevieve2019-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice and very clean apartment. My daughter and I stayed there and found it to have everything we needed. The bed was especially comfortable. We would definitely stay there in the future.

    Craig2019-08-05T00:00:00Z
  • Highly recommend for anyone visiting the Rochester area. Julia’s apartment is in a great location and is very spacious. Plus, the “forgot things box” is a tremendous touch for the forgetful traveler who always seems to fail to bring small toiletry items. That certainly saved me a trip to the closest CVS! Again, could not recommend more.

    Travis2019-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • This is a super cute South Wedge apartment convenient to downtown and other Rochester attractions. The place was INCREDIBLY clean and tidy, and very cozy. It has everything you need! And the hosts provided nice touches like 'Things you forgot to Pack' which kept me from running out to the store for safety pins. I definitely recommend this space to travelers and will rent again when in the area!

It’s a great value for the price. Julia was a great host and even let us check in several hours early! I highly recommend this place if you’re in Rochester, I know we’ll stay here on our future visits!

Bedroom is clean and has two windows. My home is quiet and in a nice area. It’s also in close proximity (walking distance) of diners, a movie theater, cafes, and restaurants. Lovely, Highland Park, is also within a short walk. The Eastman School of Music, Strong Hospital and U of R are nearby. Bus routes nearby. It's helpful for me to have at least 24 hours before booking. This space is only available for one guest. Look forward to hosting you/meeting you. Enjoy your day. Thanks.
There’s a Keurig coffee maker and coffee, a TV, and a small refrigerator you may plug in available in the room.
My house is centrally located. It’s close to downtown Rochester (Eastman School of Music -2 Miles), U of R, Highland Hospital, Strong Memorial and expressways. It’s within walking distance to a second run movie theater, diners, coffee shops and ethnic restaurants, a deli and a beautiful city park designed by Olmsted (who also designed Central Park in NYC. It’s also a very short walk to some bus stops. The neighborhood is pretty and filled with lovely homes built in the 1920’s, some of which have yards with lovely gardens.
  • This was my second time staying at Raksha's. It was just as good as the first time!

    Matthew2019-09-12T00:00:00Z
  • I've stayed at plenty of Airbnbs, and Raksha's place is in my top 2. Very clean and comfy, convenient coffee/ tea maker and mini-fridge in the room, newly renovated bathroom. The neighborhood is quiet and safe; a pocket park is across the street and a larger park within walking distance. The city's food co-op, bars, cafes, a convenience store, and a laundromat are a few blocks away. Raksha is a lovely, considerate, friendly person, and her cat is a sweetie! I hope to stay again soon.

    Michele2019-03-17T00:00:00Z
  • I had a great stay at Raksha's. The place was clean, cozy and very homely. There is a coffee machine in the room with a variety of assorted keurigs. Highly recommend staying here!

Excellent bathroom and room amenities were available. Also, the house is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. Raksha helped me a lot with navigating in and out of the Rochester area. I greatly appreciate all the local recommendations that she provided which made my time in Rochester even better. Raksha is a genuinely caring, attentive, friendly, and kind person. She is truly a Super Host. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

  • John's place was clean, aesthetically pleasing and in a great location. Lots of cute places around. It was the perfect place for me and my friends to stay (we booked all four units). The walls are a little thin, but other than that it felt like our own little hotel. Unit 1 where I stayed was definitely the most secluded, which I liked. John was very pleasant to interact with and helpful in assisting with requests or questions.

Beautiful Retro Studio Loft in 1850 Second Empire Victorian Mansion. Near many fun things to do. Close to the college. We have been Airbnb Hosts at this property for 2 years. This is just a “New Airbnb” without many bookings because this particular unit used to be a long term renter till very recently. Please check our our other listings for possible alternative units and to read our extensive reviews!
There is a main stairwell that all the units use. But the Entire Studio Loft is Private!
    Nice quiet neighborhood.

  • We were so impressed by the space. Adorable and so fun. Wish we had stayed more than one night!

    Cassidy2019-08-11T00:00:00Z
  • Great location! The house is out of the way but still super close to everything in the city. Mostly quiet neighborhood. Plenty of space and street parking wasn't too bad. The retro furniture is adorable. The place is super clean and quiet with plenty of space. Cable TV was a plus! Really the only downside to this place is that the bed is super uncomfortable and we had trouble sleeping both nights. Other than that everything was great!

    Manda2019-07-21T00:00:00Z
  • A really wonderful space! Loved staying here. Quiet nice neighborhood! Close to the river and nearby restaurants. The space is colorful and fun with old vintage appliances and super comfortable beds. The house itself is really beautiful too. Loved it and will return! :)

  • Another wonderful stay at Kristana's house! I love the bright light and calming colors of the Scholar's Room. She made me a delicious pot of coffee in the morning and we had delightful chats. Her place is cozy and ideal for a work trip. I haven't slept that well in weeks!

  • This is a great place to stay.

    Clare2019-03-09T00:00:00Z
  • What I appreciated most about Kristana was her genuine sense of hospitality. She was always the first to get in-touch to make sure I had what I needed, and answered my questions before they formed. The room is just as it is described! Clean, comfortable and cozy. There's also closet space that's not shown in the photo. The neighborhood is quiet and residential, but just a short walk from local food and drink. There's a great Jamaican/Caribbean spot, Peppa Pot Restaurant, close by, as well!

    Jaekyo2016-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • This house is beautiful- and it's a room in a house, not an apartment, as I had imagined. The room was neat and well-decorated and not far from shops and businesses in the South Wedge. I had a great time. Thanks, Kristana!

    Renee2017-06-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kristana was kind enough to wait until midnight on a Friday for my arrival. She showed me all around, and provided clear information for my stay. She also introduced me to her cute, funny dog. The Scholars Space: Great Lakes room is lovely, spacious, clean, and exactly as pictured. There's even a great walk-in closet. Kristana has a great den space for hanging out around the fireplace and reading the local South Wedge and Rochester publications and guides. I highly recommend that anyone stay with Kristana in her lovely home!

  • Beautiful place, great location, would stay again.

    Chris2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • It’s a nice place. Host lives upstairs and has very strict noise ordnance. There were a few notes around house saying no porch or backyard use after 10pm. Made me uncomfortable and felt I had to tip toe around. Good location

    Josh2019-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Kate’s place was perfect for our overnighter as we drove through Rochester. We have a toddler and there was plenty of space in the bedroom for a pack and play and not much we needed to do to baby-proof. AC right next to the bed was great 👌🏻 and the snacks/food Kate had to offer were thoughtful and yummy. Super fast WiFi helped us download some shows for the road, and before leaving town we were able to visit the Strong Museum just 5 minutes from Kate’s, an amazing place for kids! Especially if you want to tire them out before a drive. We’ll be back here on our drives through Rochester in the future!!

The South Wedge is a city neighborhood comprised of a triangular wedge of land bordered by the Genesee River on the west, and the Erie Canal (now I-490) on the east. It is sometimes considered to include the adjacent Swillburg and Highland Park neighborhoods, as well as parts of the Lilac Neighborhood. Both the Wedge and the Highland Park Neighborhood share the Linden-South Historic District. The area also has many small green spaces, nifty old buildings, and is in walking distance to Highland Park and Mount Hope Cemetery.
  • Location, location, location! Central to all, walking distance to all things in the SouthWedge. Would recommend and return to Adam's place in the future.

    Horacio2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Adam’s house must be my best Airbnb experience. Very clean and cozy and adorable. House owner is so considerate that I can find everything I need. Highly recommended. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

  • Adams place is amazing! It is beautifully decorated and has the best patio. It was very clean and a great location - close to everything in the south wedge (Rochester’s best neighborhood)

  • Loved it

    Kelly2017-11-06T00:00:00Z
  • Spacious and convenient location to all of Rochester and surrounding communities. The kitchen is roomy fully stocked with essentials. Bathroom is large, great shower. Parking is easy which is off street in the front of the apartment. We will be back later in the year. Thanks Kara and Adam, great hosts Bob & Maxine

    Robert2018-10-09T00:00:00Z
  • Adam’s place is wonderful. Very clean, cozy, comfy and spacious. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it.

    Sa2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • This beautiful second floor apartment is drop dead gorgeous. Both Adam and Kara were very welcoming and informative about our whole stay. They have a beautiful home and they definitely made us feel at home. There were plenty of amenities and the fridge and pantry were more stocked than a zombie shelter! BONUS: The apartment is only a 5 minute walk to a local brewery! Check-in and check-out was a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their beautiful home. Thank you for having us and treating us like family.

    Derrick2019-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • We just LOVED our stay at Adam’s home. We came through during a big snow storm and never wanted to leave the apartment! Adam shoveled and salted the driveway and back porch for us, which was so appreciated. The place gets so much light and is filled with plants big and small- really made us feel cozy in the middle of January! Also- SUPER CLEAN!! Our two dogs appreciated the back yard too! I wish we could have enjoyed the back patio if it would have been warm. There is a co-op a 10 Min walk from their home so it was easy to grocery shop and cook in their spacious kitchen. We found everything we needed to cook breakfast and dinner, including some condiments and spices. Also, they live in an adorable neighborhood, yoga studio, bakery, and bars minutes away by foot. One of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed!

  • It’s a nice space in the perfect location for anyone visiting town to be close to everything. Everything was nice and clean and Laura is a great host.

    Gary2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Overall a great space. The location is convenient for getting into the city, and Laura was super accommodating for any questions regarding the house. The house is a bit older than expected, with creaking floors and thin walls, but the bed was very comfortable (perfectly firm for us!), and the amenities and hospitality were on point, with Laura providing water in the room, coffee, and a fridge for our leftovers. Really enhanced our stay in Rochester. Thanks, Laura!

Unique, uncluttered, artistic home. 100% cotton fresh towels & linens. Closet with plenty of hangers. Free on street parking (alternates sides) If there is room, you may pull into driveway for load/unload as needed.

  • This place was exactly what I needed and at the right price. Heather was a great host and the place was incredibly clean. The neighborhood is funky, and while I didn't get to explore a lot, Tap and Mallet down the street had exceptional beers and great food.

Our home centers around creativity. This is the relaxation room: yoga mats, music, books. Central to city attractions, quiet street, big garden, washer & dryer, WiFi, off street parking, front & back porches. Guest bike too! Friendly, warm atmosphere.
Our home is chock full of art and instruments! Tons of paintings & prints! We can comfortably accommodate two adults. Up to three people. (We're negotiable). Kids are welcome. We live nearby the Eastman School of Music, Museum of Play, restaurants, University of Rochester, RIT, MCC, & the thousand other colleges in Rochester.
You can walk to pretty much any place you'd need to go (pharmacy, food, convenience stores, groceries, health food co-op, cafes, bike shops, bars, etc.) Our street is a magically quiet one-way that's one block from bustling Monroe Avenue. Lots of families on this street.

  • Seth and Laura welcomed us into their home. This was our first experience with Airbnb, and it was must easier and more relaxed than I imagined. This was a very busy time for Laura and Seth and yet they were gracious and accommodating. the home is as described. I went outside for my morning tea and enjoyed the lovely gardens in the backyard area.

  • I was picking up my son at the end of the school year, Seth and Laura were flexible and pleasant. Nice chat in the early evening, room comfortable, convenient location. Exactly whAt I needed/wanted. Thanks all! Katy

    Katy2015-05-09T00:00:00Z
  • Laura and Seth and their lovely family were gracious hosts with the perfect setup for us. This time Joe & I traveled with our son, and it was super cozy to have an extra bed in the room with us. The beds were comfortable. The room, like the rest of the house, had a happy vibe. You can tell much Love and care went into every room and space in the house. The bathroom had beautiful, original mosaic tile work, done by Seth himself. There was a nice front porch, and the house is in a quiet, desirable neighborhood within walking distance from the location at Park Ave Fest, where we are vending artists every year. Laura's suggestion for a late dinner Friday night was spot on. Laura invited us to pick anything from their garden we liked to eat, and had a care package ready for us from her garden upon check-out: sweet yellow cherry tomatoes, a nice big heirloom tomato, string beans and lacinato kale. In all we felt much at home away from home, and will surely Love to return the next time we are in Rochester!

Bright and spacious 2nd floor flat with skylights, full kitchen and bath, living room, dining room and bedroom. There is Central Air conditioning and off-street parking for your stay. We are ideally located in the South Wedge in the city of Rochester, a ten minute walk to Highland Park and Highland Hospital, a short drive to the University of Rochester and Strong Hospital...to down town, to Park Avenue...and an easy walk to the cafes, pubs and restaurants the South Wedge offers.
The airbnb space that we offer is an entirely separate flat on the second floor of our house. (The house is a "2 family"). There is plenty of room for four people, with a queen bed in a cozy bedroom as well as a queen sofa bed in the living room. It is nice and spacious for one or two people as well. We love that we are close enough to walk to Highland Park, which is a truly beautiful park - as well as to many local hot spots including Dickie's pub, Tru-Yoga, Harry G's sandwich spot, the Swillburger (burger joint with full bar and arcade), Flavors of Asia, the Highland Diner and the neighborhood Cinema Theater that screens double features every night. All of these things are right around us, and all the rest of Rochester is just beyond...with easy access in every direction. Our street is quiet and friendly with people walking their dogs, kids playing outside and there is a small park around the corner. We have a long driveway with ample parking in the back of the house, so you never need to find a space on the street, or worry about parking tickets.
One great thing about this neighborhood is its easy accessibility to so many areas, colleges, hospitals and highlights of Rochester. It is 10 minutes from the Eastman Kodak museum on East Avenue, 10 minutes from downtown, 10 minutes to Highland Park, 15 minutes to the University of Rochester (and the sprawling and beautiful Mount Hope Cemetery where both Susan B. Anthony and Frederick Douglass are buried...) 10 minutes to the suburb of Brighton, etc. Easy access to all the local festivals, whether you walk, bus, drive or Uber.
  • The apartment is great and Kim is a super responsive and helpful host. The place itself is spacious, clean and charming with pretty much anything you'd need for a short stay. We especially loved the cozy breakfast nook and the sunny living room.

Enjoy staying in our fully remodeled Victorian home with a beautiful bay window. In the "hip" and homey South Wedge neighborhood of Rochester, it takes less than 9 minutes to walk to the local coffee shops, restaurants, bars, organic grocery co-op, yoga studio, corner store, and our favorite dessert shop.
If you're willing to walk 2 miles or drive 8 minutes, the places you can go are endless! The Strong Museum, Highland Park (home of the Lilac Festival), the University of Rochester, Park Avenue, Eastman Theatre, College Town, Frontier Field, and many more.
My mom told me she saw on Good Morning America that the South Wedge is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the country, and I have to agree. We love living here!
  • One of the best Air BnBs in the Rochester area. Wonderful location, hosts, and beautiful apartment! Definitely would recommend this and definitely would love to come back!

    Emma2018-12-02T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at Aylssa and Ed's place was great! The check in instructions were easy to follow so we appreciated that. The chocolate and wine at check in was a sweet touch. The apartment was very clean (clean linen and towels provided) and this was very important for us. The host was quick to respond and bring us supplies that ran out. The location was probably the best thing for us. Close to restaurants/fast food and the Strong Museum. Great stay and great value!

    Lily2019-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • This is a clean, large space in a quiet neighborhood. The hosts were very friendly and thoughtful. They gave us our space but made sure to check in a few times via the website messaging system to make sure everything met our expectations. I would definitely stay here again.

  • Alyssa + Ed were lovely hosts and the apartment was exactly as described. The area is an up-and-coming spot and there's a super cute community garden right next door which was so sweet to walk past. Communication was great, check-in was super easy. I stayed with my kids, a toddler and a newborn, and found the home to be very family friendly. 10/10 would stay again!

    Meghan2019-05-21T00:00:00Z
  • Alyssa and Ed were great hosts, and their place was a gem. My wife and I were so appreciative of and surprised by their thoughtfulness and warm welcome gestures (frozen pizza, wine, chocolate PB cups, etc...). We also loved their quick communication and open availability. As for the physical space, the bed we slept in was very comfy! Also, the place retains heat exceptionally well, which is important when considering the cold outside temps that Western NY can reach. Lastly, while street parking was easily accessible, the convenience of private and secluded parking in the driveway could not be matched. We had a wonderful stay, have already raved about our stay/the hosts’ hospitality to friends, and would definitely recommend this place to future travelers. If we return to Rochester, we hope Alyssa and Ed have an opening for us to book again!

    Thomas2018-11-25T00:00:00Z

  • Great spot in a lively neighborhood that is not far from downtown. The accommodations were clean and in excellent condition. Ann is a great communicator and responds promptly.

    Nicolaas2017-10-02T00:00:00Z
  • Ann is amazing and her place is a perfect place to stay for a cozy visit to Rochester.

    Edgar2018-12-21T00:00:00Z
  • A spotless studio apartment right in Center City. Convenient to all the hip hangouts, with multiple parking lots, I could not have asked for a more convenient location while coming to town for a friend’s wedding. My hosts were easy to communicate with, and had cold Snapple waiting for me after my long 6 hour drive. I would easily stay again. Thanks for everything!

    Amanda2019-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Great location to walk to restaurants (especially plant-based) and bars. We chose this location since our plans included seeing a show at the Bug's Jar, which was only a couple of blocks away. Large studio room had the coziest bed I've ever slept on while vacationing and all the amenities of home (kitchen, bath, large screen tv, air conditioning). Ann also provided local information and the apartment was sparkling clean. If we ever visit Rochester again we will definitely stay at Ann's place again!

    Stephanie2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • Ann’s place is cozy, comfortable, and feels like a home away from home. The studio is in a great location, walkable to various bars, restaurants, and shopping centers. The studio also has wonderful amenities and is spacious for two people. Thank you Ann and family!

    Hale2018-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Ann is a very good host. We had a few questions about the parking and she answered very quickly. The studio is very nice and clean. There was a little noisy outside at night but not a problem and there is a « sleep-easy machine ». First Time we used this and its very efficient! Thank you Ann

    Yann2019-09-13T00:00:00Z
  • Ann's studio apartment is a wonderful spot for a long term stay in Rochester. I was there for almost a week and felt very comfortable the whole time. It's really nicely decorated with excellent wifi, water pressure, and bed. It is in a bit of a busy neighborhood with thin walls, but as a heavy sleeper I had no issue with it. Parking is easy and the apartment is centrally located to cool spots in South Wedge. Will definitely stay again!

    Emma2017-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Very nice, very clean, very comfortable and very well located place. You will find in the studio everything you need and Ann is very kind and very reactive. The studio is very near the center of the town. I was able to go to the campus of the university for free with the Brown line (stop just in front of the studio) and I went on foot to the George Eastman Museum : it was just perfect ! If I come back to Rochester, I will return in this studio, for sure !

My place is close to restaurants and dining, family-friendly activities, nightlife, public transport, ideal location in Rochester's East End, lots of cafes, independent film theaters, museums and more.... My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. (we have FOUR completely independent rooms with all amenities each). Think of a mini Hotel that's complete self serve like Yotel NYC.
  • Rest is a great place, I cannot say enough about it. Great location, very clean and well thought out units. Despite being on a busy street, very quiet sleeping at night. On a next visit to Rochester to visit friends, can't wait to hopefully stay here again.

  • Very good place to stay in the very heart of the arts district. Easy checkin and very flexible and fair cancellation policy (has to drop a night off the stay due to a late change in travel plan). Highly recommended.

  • Neat, clean, well equipped and organized. Perfect!

    César2017-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beforehand I received a text providing me all the information I would need for checkin. I was able to call with any questions and received helpful advice. I would stay here again

  • Great location. Attentive host, who responded quickly to any concerns. The Harts market was a great place and several good restaurants within an easy walk. Beautiful old residential neighborhood just a few blocks east. The cleaning people were very helpful and went above and beyond. Mini frig and Keurig machine were a nice plus. Only annoyance was lack of a parking space, which required using a public lot 8am to 6pm and street parking( which is free after 6pm until 8 am) So you had to move your car around a bit. Street spaces were sometimes at a premium. The space itself was ideal for my needs. When I'm back in Rochester, I'll be back here for sure!

  • John's place was great for a couple days. For our purposes, the location was great - close to the wedding we were attending and also to bars, coffee shops, etc. Be aware, the place is small with no windows but all the furniture and other amenities were fine. A really polished place to stay!

    Sarah2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • This was my 3rd stay and John's place and still can't say enough about how much I love it! Perfectly located, super cleanly, stylish, and above all - easy. Thanks John!

  • I loved staying at Rest so much. John was so great and quick to answer all emails. It was super convenient and easy accessing the building and room. Rest is in the perfect location to walk to restaurants, coffee shops, and entertainment. The room was very clean, very well decorated and had everything I needed including the most comfortable bed. Staff were very kind and attentive. I'm so glad Rest was available and I had the opportunity to stay there. Would definitely stay there again.

Our place is in the City Center East End close to restaurants, coffee shops, independent film movie theater, family-friendly activities, nightlife, and public transport. You’ll love my place because of the location, ambiance, the comfy bed, and the neighborhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups (we have FOUR completely independent rooms with all amenities each). Our place was designed and built with the traveller/adventurer in mind, each room is designed to maximize your comfort, and it's all brand new! With four rooms all adjoined by a common entrance and lobby, it's easy to get in and out and the best part is the location! Right in the heart of the East End with everything you'll love less than a block or two from the front door; coffee houses, great restaurants, independent film theater and all the museums within easy walking distance.
  • Excellent location. The fruit and chocolates in hallway a nice touch.

    Linda2018-07-17T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a hidden gem. Loved the decor. Very clean and perfect for a night or 2. Communication was great. Tons of restaurants and entertainment within walking distance. Would definitely stay again!

  • A perfect place to spend the night in the heart of Rochester.

    Sally2018-11-09T00:00:00Z
  • Our stay at John and Steven’s place was wonderful! Very beautiful space and nice and clean! Communication was quick and accommodating to our requests! We absolutely recommend staying here and will stay again in the future!

  • This place is INCREDIBLE!!! Close to night life, bars, restaurant, market and many more things. I have nothing negative to say about John or this location. He's made it very difficult to improve upon and he is friendly and answers all your questions. Without a doubt next time I visit Rochester I'm staying there again.

  • John’s place worked out great for us as a place to stay while in town for a friend’s wedding. The location was perfect and room very clean. We especially appreciated being able to check in and out at times that were convenient for us. Would definitely stay here again.

    Jessie2018-09-16T00:00:00Z
  • New, clean, comfortable, and a fantastic location! John was incredibly helpful and responsive! This is your best choice for downtown Rochester and East End. The location can’t be beat! A few doors down on the same block is the historic Little Theatre, an independent movie theater that is one of the highlights of downtown Rochester. Also on the block is Hart’s Local Grocers that carries a wide variety of organic and local products. They have some wonderful pre-made meals and a café. Down the street is SPoT Coffee with good food and coffee. You could easily hang out there all day, like we did. There are so many places to eat and things to do and see within a few blocks, that I can’t list them all here. John’s place is new, clean, and stylish. It is what you would pay $400 to get at a nice hotel. It was much roomier than expected. I stayed with my son. We are both over six feet tall and never felt cramped like I have felt in a lot of hotel rooms that aren’t laid out well. The bed was new and comfortable. There’s a large flat screen TV, a desk and wifi, and a small kitchenette with a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The bathroom was clean, well-lit, roomy, and stylish. There were keypad locks on the doors, so we didn’t have to keep up with keys. Parking was as convenient as it gets. We parked on the street right in front of the door to the building. Most importantly, John was responsive, friendly, and helpful, ready with advice and recommendations whenever we needed it! The one minor problem we had on a Sunday night was quickly taken care of after texting John. You can’t get that kind of responsiveness from a hotel. John clearly cares about providing the best experience for his guests. If you are staying in downtown Rochester, this is the place to stay. Great location, new/clean apartment, and wonderful host!

Located in the South Wedge, a friendly & historic neighborhood. Pubs, coffee shops, restaurants---vibrant! Close to UR campus & Highland hospital, dntwn. Walk, bus, or bike to everything. Great for professionals looking for a quiet space.
The room features a full captains bed, maps, and natural light. It's a bit nostalgic for old times spent navigating Brooklyn, hence the name "King's County". The home is a turn of the century American four-square with beautiful wood details. Perfect for med/grad/international students and researchers, or visiting parents. The general vibe of the home is that of international exchange students, dinner parties, and campfire chats. Have had many wonderful experiences as an Air BNB guest and hope to replicate them in this home. Very walkable, diverse and arty. Sushi, bars, BBQ, coffee, chocolate, ice cream, rock & roll, wine bar, salon, painted murals, record shop, movie theater, and more are just a few blocks down the street. Both the neighborhood and this space are very LGBTQ friendly. Beautiful gardens and folks who take pride in their homes make for a neighborly experience in the South Wedge.

  • The bedroom and adjacent bathroom are very clean and cozy. The room looks just as presented in the photos and is located on the second floor along with three other bedrooms that branch off the landing just outside the bedroom door. Kristana and I met only when I was checking out but the check-in process and entry into the house was very easy and straightforward. The neighborhood appeared very nice and is located near a park but I was too busy to explore the neighborhood.

    Spencer2015-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Kristana's home is in a cozy neighborhood, not far from downtown Rochester. She was very responsive to my inquiries before I booked the room and she was flexible about check in. I really like the Kings County room, with its NYC touches, including a map of the city from the 1960s and the very comfortable bed. The bedrooms are on the second floor. Kristana is delightful, as she was accommodating and available.

    Fran2017-10-16T00:00:00Z
  • Kristana has a lovely and welcoming home, and she is a great host! Our travels brought us in later in the evening, she could not have been more welcoming and accommodating to our schedule. The room was lovely and the house delightful. Kristana made us welcome and offered great neighborhood tips. As fellow airbnb hosts, we had a good time swapping stories and ideas on hosting. We were in Rochester to see family, which was great; having such a comfortable base added immeasurably to the pleasure of our visit!

    Calvin2016-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Kristana was a super host - she knows the area really well and gave good advice on exploring South Wedge! The room is just as clean and prim as the picture shows it to be, and even when the house was full of other guests it was still quiet and pretty private. Very hospitable - she stayed up until midnight to greet us at the door upon arrival and my friends enjoyed quality hang-out time in the lovely living room areas. Only one regret - her little old dog didn't like me near as much as I liked him!

    Katie2016-04-13T00:00:00Z
  • Good clean place - well recommended to anybody staying in Rochester.

    Vincent2016-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Kristana was a great host! The room and house were lovely and super comfortable (the bed in particular was SO COMFY). Check in and check out were so easy, and we just felt totally at ease—we had to be in and out of the house a ton over the weekend and it felt like home, running in and out and around town. South Wedge is a cute neighborhood full of beautiful homes, and is very walkable—we strolled from the house to breakfast and enjoyed seeing all the historic Victorian architecture. Next time we visit Rochester, we’d def stay here again—that’s the highest praise I can give!

    Meryl2014-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • I never got to meet the host, but she was very kind to put up darkening shades and a fan in the room as I work overnights. The place was quiet and I slept well.

    Marisa2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • This was my first experience with using air bnb. I stayed at Kristana's with a friend and we are both now sold on this concept!! Kristana was such a wonderful, easy-going, and helpful host! She made sure to be home when we arrived and gave us a full tour of her beautiful house. She has arranged everything in her home in such a way that you don't feel like you're intruding - we felt very at ease whenever we were there. She provides all of the essentials (wifi, towels, comfy bed to sleep on, soap/shampoo), but goes above and beyond by also providing fridge space, full use of her kitchen, a bathroom solely for guest use, and a tv with DVDs and Netflix! Her home is also within walking distance to lots of coffee shops and restaurants, and there is lots of stunning graffiti to check out! If you want a fun experience in Rochester, Kristana's house is the place to stay! (I know I'll be staying here the next time I'm in Rochester!)

Historic neighbourhood of South Wedge with my home being built in 1903! Great area with a lot to see and explore.
One large attic bedroom. Full size bed with bedding. Two windows, one with air conditioning.
Located in popular South Wedge! Just a short walk to your coffee shops, restaurants, parks, breweries and more!
  • Great space in a vibrant neighborhood! Good value and Adam is an excellent host.

    Jonathan2019-08-02T00:00:00Z
  • A really cool (and huge) attic room in a huge, old house with great architecture. Location in the South Wedge neighborhood is fantastic, within walking distance to tons of great restaurants and shops. Adam was very responsive and friendly and clearly cares a lot about keeping the house and rooms in great condition. Comfy bed, kitchen access, easy keypad locks on doors. We extended our stay an extra day - this is exactly the type of place we needed for our trip to Rochester.

    Katie2019-07-24T00:00:00Z
  • Great place, Adam was very helpful

    Roberto2019-07-06T00:00:00Z
  • Adam is very responsive. The house is in a good location. Plenty of parking and some nearby diners for breakfast. Decent room for a good price!

    Kiho2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • I had a really great stay at Adams! The room is very stylish and clean, plenty of privacy, comfortable and quiet. Great price, especially for the area and the quality of the stay! Room is huge, nice desk & plenty of storage space, Bathroom is gorgeous & has a great shower. Adam was super accommodating, is quick to reply and made the check in very easy!

    Agatha2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, really near from everything and easy to arrive there It was a quick stay but it was great. Adam replies quickly too 😊

  • This pace is great for a short trip to Rochester. It is very basic the house and room are empty to the point of it looking creepy. This being said it’s in a wonderful location and it’s very clean and your can’t beat the price point. I would definitely stay here again if I am passing through the city.

Stay in Rochester's oldest residential neighborhood among many beautiful Victorian homes. Grab a glass of wine at Flight Wine bar or take a scenic stroll along the Genesee River. Right off 490, this apartment is close to the airport, city center, University of Rochester, Strong Memorial Hospital, Highland Hospital, College Town, & South Wedge. Walk to downtown attractions such as Blue Cross Arena (0.5miles-10min walk), Dinosaur BBQ (0.5miles-10min walk) & Frontier Field (0.7miles-15min walk).
This is a two-level, 1 bedroom apartment with a full bathroom on bottom floor. You will enter on the ground level with your unique entry code, which you will receive a day prior to your arrival. The ground level has an entrance hallway, bedroom with a queen bed, and a full bathroom. You will use a spiral staircase to get to the second level (the staircase is on the narrower side; so if you think it might be an issue for anyone in your party, this might not be the Airbnb for you). The second level has the living/dining space with a kitchen. We have a smart TV that has Netflix and some local channels. A private balcony is available for you to enjoy during warm season. You will find laundry through a door by the kitchen that leads into a common hallway. We offer off street parking for one vehicle in the driveway but can provide a parking pass for a second vehicle to park on the street (street signs rules apply). Please let us know ahead of time, if you will have more then one car. There is a studio apartment with their own entrance above the 2nd level of the apartment that is also being rented out as an Airbnb. Both Airbnbs share the washer/dryer in the common hallway. Both Airbnb rentals are located in the back portion of 1860's Italian Villa nicknamed by the neighbors as "The Taj." SIDE NOTE: You might see this listing pop up in search results twice. One is a one bedroom listing with one bathroom and other a two bedroom listing with 2 bathrooms. We do this to increase our occupancy rate. When the apartment is booked as a one bedroom, we close off one of the bedrooms and a bathroom. When the apartment is booked as a two bedroom, guests have access to the whole unit.
Welcome to the oldest residential neighborhood in Rochester, NY. This historic neighborhood sits on the banks of Genesee River and is full of tree lined streets and beautiful Victorian homes. It is home to the biggest summer festival in Rochester, Corn Hill Arts Festival, which takes place July 13th and 14th in 2019. Corn Hill landing is about a 7 minute walk from the apartment and has 5 restaurants, a wine bar, sports bar, and a small convenience store.
  • Great place!

    Aijia2019-04-30T00:00:00Z
  • My only regret is that I wasn’t able to spend more time in this beautifully decorated space. Everything was clean and comfortable, check in was a breeze, and Anya was so kind to check with me to see if there were any concerns or if I needed anything. Very close to nearby attractions. I would highly recommend this Airbnb if you are traveling to the Rochester area!

    Adriana2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • The space was absolutely beautiful, exactly like the pictures! Very carefully thought out and so detailed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in Rochester!

    Kelsey2019-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • This space is really wonderful. The hosts are easy to communicate and the balcony was perfect. We loved our time there!

  • Anya was a great host! She provided a comfortable and warm place for me to say for two nights. The apartment was located in a quiet neighborhood. I will recommend her apartment to people who wants to stay in Rochester!

    Jialong2019-04-22T00:00:00Z
  • Very stylish place! The decor was really why we went for this place. The bathroom is on the first floor so it's a little inconvenient if you stay on the second floor more. Overall great place!

    Aijia2019-04-28T00:00:00Z
  • The host Anya, the space, and the amenities definitely exceeded my expectations. I would stay here again if I'm in the area. As an extra bonus, her space is located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood in Rochester.

    Meaghan2019-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • This place has a beautifully appointed living area with unique furniture and art. The bedroom was also chic and had a comfortable bed. There is a skinny spiral staircase between the bedroom and the living area; this wasn't an issue for me, but I could see it being a concern for some people. I highly recommend this place.

Relax in our fully-remodeled, charming Victorian home. You will be staying in the entire top floor, which includes a kitchen, dining area, bathroom, separate bedroom with frosted glass doors, and a living area with a full-sized pull-out mattress and beautiful bay window. In the "hip" South Wedge neighborhood of Rochester, it takes less than 9 minutes to walk to the local coffee shops, restaurants, bars, organic grocery co-op, yoga studio, corner store, and our favorite dessert shop.
If you're willing to walk 2 miles or drive 8 minutes, the places you can go are endless! The Strong Museum, Highland Park (home of the Lilac Festival), the Eastman School of Music, the University of Rochester, Park Avenue, Eastman Theatre, College Town, Frontier Field, and many more.
My mom told me she saw on Good Morning America that the South Wedge is one of the hottest neighborhoods in the country, and I have to agree.
  • A great, comfortable and roomy space and great location. We appreciated Alyssa’s thoughtful and generous touches.

  • Great place to stay. Very stylish and clean

    Daniel2019-05-31T00:00:00Z
  • Everything was beautiful and loved the color schemes. It was roomy even for 5 and all the beds were comfortable with nice bedding. The kitchen was really well done too. It was a great distance from local attractions (Niagara falls and palmyra) As a bonus the Tastes of Asia restraint suggestion was great!

    Reggie2019-07-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful stay with Alyssa. She was very attentive and checked in with us regularly to make sure everything was ok. The chocolates and free bottle of wine on the table were a really nice touch as well.

I would highly recommend, This is a great place!
