Holiday rentals with lake access in Esmeraldas

Dominique has a wonderful place. It is perfect to disconnect, live with nature without losing any comfort.

I cannot say enough positive things about this place! The tiny home is lovely-clean and well designed, the surroundings are astonishingly beautiful and so peaceful. All you hear are birds, which is just the way I like it. We cannot wait to come back someday and book a a longer visit. We could spend all day relaxing on the balcony watching toucans and tanagers! Walking the road and birding was equally enjoyable. The taxi drivers recommended to us were responsive and friendly. I felt badly asking them to drive all the way up to the house (it is about a half hour as others have said) but they didn't seem to mind and drove us both up and out several times. We also walked into town a few times and enjoyed the walk too! I used the hot tub once and it was lovely! But I recommend using the tub during the day as opposed to at night- if the light is on you'll spend a lot of your time rescuing moths if you bathe at night. But it is relaxing and feels very decadent to bathe outside with the birds!

We have stayed at Juan Diegos' cabin twice. The reseve is remote, beautiful and peaceful. Birds, frogs, horses and other wildlife makes you feel like you are part of the nature. One of the walking trails takes you to the river and a picturesque biopool that is literally located in the middle of a pasture and fed by rainwater. It is the most unique pool that we have ever seen. The dining area has a large terrace with a view of mountains and an elevated view over the river. This terrace is a perfect place for flexing and yoga or just having a romantic moment. The breakfast is delicious and healthy and the hosts are very responsive and friendly. The arcitecure and design of the cabin are unique and stylish. Everything is done with meticulos attention to detail. You can cook your own food if you wish, which we did for some meals. The kitchen has what is needed for most simple dishes. We also loved the jaccuzi which worked as promised. Great both with or without kids.

Amazing place, close to Mindo’s downtown. Staff is very kind and the place is clean and comfy!

Our families stay in Mindo was wonderful! Luz and her family were very helpful with check-in and instructions even though our Spanish was limited. The place was cozy and very clean. We were within walking distance of town with great restaurants and shops. The gardens around the house were beautiful and they even have hummingbird feeders and a place where they put fruit for the birds. It was magical to watch the birds while drinking delicious Ecuadorian coffee. We would recommend this place to others!

Excellent attention, the apartment is super nice, elegant, the location close to everything, the apartment is recommended and I want to return as soon as possible.

We had a wonderful 7-night stay at La Maga. The place is as described and as seen in the pictures. We agree with all of the previous reviews, in that the place is surrounded by nature. We had monkeys come visit one morning and saw various Toucan birds near the house. Our favorite part was walking the path to town each day where we encountered more birds. There are other paths to nearby to explore, so bring a light/torch for a self-guided night walk. This place is perfect for nature lovers. The place was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking your own meals (although there are many good restaurants in town). There is hot water for the showers. Martita was a great and responsive host and was available for my questions.

i thought I was going there to rest, but the site is a complete work of art, very good view, many amenities and amenities that are not in the ad like huelo, fridge, cooking tools, appliances, coffee maker, hammocks, comfortable furniture, home cinema, elevator ...in short, it's too cheap for everything it contains...plus Mr. Juan Manuel super friendly very attentive 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

A magical place in the middle of nature. The glamping is surrounded by plants, with a beautiful trail leading to a waterfall. At night we saw a firefly dance that looked like it was taken out of a story. The place is beautiful, comfortable and the service was super friendly. I left with a full heart.
