This is a beautiful Airbnb close to La Merced. It’s very quiet and had plenty of space for our large group. There were screens on the master bedroom doors but, it would be helpful to have screens on the doors of the other bedrooms as there is no air conditioning and there were mosquitos.

2nd time staying at Sor Juana and its more dreamy than I remember. Go ahead and book this place NOW. The rooms are massive, the terrace is gorgeous and the staff are amazing. The breakfast provided was delicious and we were even able to wash and dry our clothes since we hiked Acatenango one of the days. Its also spacious enough for everyone to hang out in different areas of the house so you dont ever feel crowed. Cant say enough good things about this place. One quirk we didn’t realize is that the showers take a bit to warm up, so just let the water run for a few minutes before jumping in.

Exc lugar, exc ubicación, exc servicio. Sin duda alguna volvería a repetir esta estadía, nos encantó cada detalle de la casa. Un lugar agradable para poder descansar. Super recomendado, fueron muy amables y siempre pendientes!

Todo muy bonito y acogedor. Las instalaciones impecables y todo estaba a la mano. El ambiente es muy seguro y privado, justo lo que buscábamos con mi familia. Algo donde distraernos y no preocuparnos de nada. El personal muy atento y amable y siempre estuvieron para ayudarnos en todo. Todo estuvo Perfecto.

Place is gorgeous. Perfectly located. During the weekend El Paredon experienced a power out…. And our amazing host made sure that we were fine and comfortable! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This place is beautiful and unique. Location was perfect. Our grandkids loved the pool. Having pool towels was great! The beds were so comfortable. Having shampoo and conditioner was appreciated and even a nice touch having nice smelling lotion in the bathrooms. We would love to stay again if we can. I think we were lucky to get this place last minute.

We spent a delightful week at this lovely townhome. Arriving late at night in Antigua, we so appreciated the breakfast welcome basket of banana bread, marmalade, coffee and flor de Jamaica juice. The house is beautifully furnished and spacious with plenty of room for the 7 of us to spread out. Located in a gated community a couple of blocks from the hustle and bustle of Antigua’s busy streets, the home’s setting is strikingly tranquil – and perfect for sleeping. Our family loved the solar heated swimming pool surrounded by bougainvillea and hanging ferns. Philippa and Flor, the host and the manager, were so responsive and helpful. Flor shared some excellent restaurant recommendations with us. The guidebook to the house (and Antigua) was the best I’ve ever seen at an Airbnb. And the housekeepers Mikaela and Karla were so welcoming. We can’t wait to return!

Muy recomendable. Cómodo y muy limpio. La piscina la limpian todos los días y el personal es muy profesional, servicial y amigable. Disfrutamos la playa y la vista. Vale la pena la inversión. Definitivamente nos gustaría regresar.

El alojamiento es tal y como se describe. Comido, seguro, limpio, con estacionamiento, comunicación fluida con el personal. El lugar es lindo y hay restaurantes en la zona, también se puede cocinar en la cabaña hay todo lo necesario. Importante que el lapso final al destino es terracería y un carro pequeño y bajo quizás pueda tener inconvenientes, especialmente en estación lluviosa.

El lugar es hermoso, muy cómodo, cuenta con todo lo necesario, es súper tranquilo, la vista desde la terraza es preciosa. La comunicación con Gabriela fue genial.

The cabin was right along the edge of the lake and surrounded by nature. Really peaceful place to go relax for a weekend.

I stayed at Balam Ya Rentals and it was truly one for the books. The property felt luxurious, spacious, and incredibly private—perfect for a restful retreat by Lake Atitlán. From the private driveway and designated parking space to the lush surroundings, everything about the space invited relaxation. What made the experience especially memorable was the attentive and kind team. They were always available to help us coordinate taxis, meals, and even a private boat to explore the lake and its surrounding villages. While some services came at a higher-than-average price, the level of comfort, ease, and care made it more than worth it. If you’re looking for a peaceful, elevated experience in Lake Atitlán with top-tier hospitality and privacy, this is the place.
