Beachfront holiday rental in Engure parish

We will have very happy memories of this stay, it started with a very pleasant and unexpected surprise at the welcome, I will not write what kind of surprise, because maybe the surprise is adapted to the arriving guests. Antra took care of every aspect of our expectations during our stay, the rooms nicely decorated, the bathroom in the old style, which suited us because they were very functional, clean everywhere. Close to the beach, a shortcut of about 3 minutes. Nice starting point for the bikes we had with us. Sharing the kitchen (fully equipped) was not at all problematic, and again a surprise at the end, this time with home-made product:) I have not mentioned the very interesting conversations with Antra, not only about what to see in the area, or in Riga, which, thanks to the train connection and the possibility of taking the bikes there, was an unforgettable experience. Many thanks once again!

We stayed as a family of five for six nights, and it was truly a special experience. The location is absolutely stunning — peaceful, beautiful, and full of charm. Although the weather wasn’t always kind, the warmth of the fireplace, the comfort of the sauna, and evenings spent around the barbecue brought so much joy and togetherness to our stay. What truly made it unforgettable were the hosts — kind, generous, and so welcoming. They made us feel at home from the very first moment. A heartfelt thank you also goes to their lovely, tail-wagging companion, who greeted us every day with pure joy and made us smile endlessly. We created wonderful memories here — laughter, late-night chats, and simple moments that we’ll treasure for a long time. Thank you for everything. We loved it and will absolutely be back.

Better than we expected. A great vacation home for a family.

Just what we needed. Long holidays without the hustle and bustle of daily work. Instead of a TV, a fabulous view outside the windows (yes, we saw a roe too). We left with wheels available and played board games. And, of course, the sea. Everything the brivies need. Beautiful dishes, beautiful textiles and of course the house itself. Thank you!

We rented the entire house, as there were 9 people staying. Renting single rooms might give one less privacy. The house is located less than 100 metres from a stony but swimmable spectacular beach. All the necessary facilities are available and the stay was very pleasant, particularly in summer. Georgs was very easy to communicate with and helpful. There is a decent restaurant very nearby, so if you don't feel like cooking, this is a good choice.

The location is outstanding, complete peace and quiet, we were able to watch the birds. The house is ancient, authentic, everything you need on site, even coal and grill liquid. The house reigns the aura of antiquity, my 2m long above was walking around due to the low ceiling. We took advantage of the sauna services of the nearby guest house, to which we went in walking distance along the sea. The sea is clean, you can swim there, just have to swim far. Caltene is a beautiful and quirky place. I recommend it to those who are already tired of modernism.

This place was absolutely amazing and exactly what we were looking for. The house is completely new and has immaculate amenities. The garden, the sauna house, the hot tub, everything was as described and we felt very much at home. Liva is a great host and was always available if there were any questions. We were so happy about this place! Everything looks much better than in the Photos !!! You can find everything you need in the house, there is a lot of space for everyone, the surroundings are amazing and the Sound being near the sea in the night was so calming! Best Airbnb so far!

This was an unforgettable experience we had at Egon's place. The house was small, but at the same time very cozy. The BBQ grill availability and outdoor seating areas were very lovely. If you are looking for a great out of town holiday, this is the place to go. The sea is literally 30 seconds away, and you can hear the waves from the bedroom. Egons was very helpful and responsive. Highly recommended holiday location!

Wonderful place to enjoy the peace and seascape, even from the windows of the cabin. Not to mention walking along the coast or away on the dune road. The photos are not half of the vibe that is on the spot. And this applies to both the cottage itself and the surrounding area. The cottage is new, perfectly decorated - with design and taste, comfortable and thoughtful. Kitchen well equipped. Inga welcoming and responsive. We will be more than happy to come back again sometime, thank you!
