Esjuberg Farm-Sleep with horses & mountain hike

Welcome to the newly renovated farmhouse in Esjuberg, where you sleep by the roots of the mountain. This house truly has it all, from a beautiful ocean view, horses in the backyard, and a phenomenal view over Reykjavik. Esjuberg plays a big part in a very interesting Icelandic Viking story called the Kjalnesinga Saga. In this story, a woman named Esja lived here along with her foster son Búi, who became a very mighty man.

Bus stations in the street (30 min trip to city center). Self check-in from 17pm of arrival date, key box by the front door, private entrance. Code to key box will be sent 48 hours prior to arrival. Sleeping arrangement is 1 queen bed, fitting two adults.

Relax with your family at this peaceful place to stay. 3 bedrooms for 5 persons and a baby bed. The house is located in a quite suburb close to nature. Nice walking areas around Grafarvogur bay. The house is very close to the main road heading down town. Supermarket/petrol station is located in 2 minutes walk. The house is very cosy with hot tub that is always ready to use. Big and beutiful patio is facing south.

Nice apartment located 10 km from downtown Reykjavík with a free parking.. Swimming pool near by, grocery shops, gas station and good walking trails by the sea with a view over Viðey. Museum and galleries near by also. The apartment is on a fifth floor and in the building are 38 apartments with all kinds of neighbors so this is not a party house. I meet my guests to let them have the key.

Our apartment is very cosy, it has beautiful mountain views. The apartment is next to our apartment so we are always willing to help our guests with ideas of what to do :) It is very easy to take both the flybus to Hamraborg from the airport (7 minutes walking distance from the apartment) and also to take the bus downtown or take an electric bike (Hopp) along the seashore to downtown :)
