Country Cabin #1 with private pool

MaudeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Beautiful environment, beautiful view and about very quiet. The house is superb and well appointed and very clean and the hosts are very welcoming. You have to think about picking up everything at the grocery store because the house is off-center from the city. The roads are dirt so take this into consideration but the view is well worth it!

Private room at beachfront boutique hotel

Felipe Rating, 5 stars6 months ago
The place was really peaceful. I enjoyed my time there and had 0 complains. The staff was friendly as well as the guests. We were in front of the beach which make it a breeze to go for a walk. The food and drinks were superb as well as the room.

Casa Todo Bueno (south house)

Janelle and Jon were great hosts, very friendly and willing to help out in anyway they can. Their place was perfect- nice rooms, common area and shared outdoor kitchen will all the essentials. The beach is a 1 min walk away, the grocery store and a few restaurants are also just a 15 min walk away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!

Ocean-View Room 1 with Pool & Direct Beach Access

ScottRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I stayed in Miramar but learned about Playa Hermosa on a boat trip from there and really enjoyed the waves there, so I decided to change it up, and I am so glad I did. Charlotte and Buck were the best and picked me up. They offer daily courtesy trips up to the general market 10 minutes away, so guest always have what they need. The store is also where the bus stop to Leon or Managua is, and they shared with me the schedule. They also have a motorcycle for rent with a surfboard rack, which is great if you're like me and know your way around since its only 15 minutes away from all the other breaks. The property is well equipped to feel at home, and with only a few private rooms and plenty of open space, you don't feel cramped. It was quiet and peaceful there and I can't wait to come back longer next time to spend more time relaxing.

Pacific View Bedroom in Tide Pool Paradise

My husband and I spent the most wonderful week at Jared's place in El Transito. It was exactly what we needed, a beautiful place to relax and spend time by the ocean. The house was so comfortable and we felt right at home and so welcomed by Emir and Fran the caretakers! We enjoyed our sleeps in the comfortable bed, and the amazing views from the patio. Breathtaking sunsets and excellent swim spots in the tidal pools right outside the house. We loved the walks along the beach into town where we enjoyed many meals at the local restaurants. Fran made us a delicious breakfast every morning which we were so grateful for. Jared was an amazing host, always there to answer all of our questions and help us figure out our travel plans. Emir was kind enough to pick us up in town and drop us off to the bus when we left! Honestly I couldn't recommend this place enough, if you are looking for a beautiful place to relax with lovely people look no further! 100% recommend

The Roost at El Gallo Griton, Miramar

Gerrit was an incredible host. Shared valuable details on the area, gave good recommendations and would give some pluses that added the value to your trip. Such as good deals on vehicle rentals, plugins with other surf camps to get boat rides. His restaraunt is superb, good food cheap beers and fun staff. He is great at conversation. Knows a lot about the country and his background before becoming an expat tendered him knowledgeable in worldly information that adds to long conversations. He is versatile. He can be a good friend or he can be out of the way host if you want. Plenty space on the compound/ restaraunt to get your own space if you need it. Showers outside work great, little bit lower pressure inside shower but it’s hot always outside and the toilet use is like home (US), you can flush your TP haha! Bedroom clean and spacious. Remember this is not a country where you can hang out in your room, it’s way too hot. A lot of adaptions you have to make. Mahaloz Gerrit

We had such a lovely time staying at Karins and Chris home. Epic view with amazing sunset. Large comfortable private room with ensuite was more than enough during our stay. Cant wait to see the progress with this place in a few years time! The town itself doesn't have much so take all the cash you need for your stay (we found this out the hard way!)
