Family-friendly holiday rentals in El Descanso

Excelente estancia, el lugar super tranquilo y familiar, muchas albercas y acceso a la playa, Frank es una personas orientada a la satisfacción del cliente y lo recomiendo ampliamente, gracias por estar al pendiente!, el condo muy limpio y como muchas amenidades!... thumbs up!

The gated community was amazing. The security was amazing, they were friendly and on top of their jobs. The community was beautiful, very peaceful and quiet. The house was exactly as Mark/Zach have on their profile. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and well maintained. The view off the patio was absolutely beautiful. We would definitely stay there again.

We had an amazing stay at Fredrick’s condo - very relaxing! We can’t wait to go back!

David saved us after another host in the area canceled last minute! He took time out of his night to arrange our late arrival with building security and was very responsive as we navigated getting there in the dark after a stressful day. The apartment was lovely and clean with a gorgeous balcony overlooking the beach. Fans in each of the bedrooms kept us cool at night, even in August. Easy to walk down to the beach for a dip or duck into a beach club for a drink. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean, as was the kitchen. We ended up running most of the dishes through the dishwasher before using them to get them completely clean, but that was our only minor note. Overall we had an awesome stay and will definitely reach out again next time we’re down south!

Very nice and clean place! I would definitely recommend. Will be staying here on future trips also. Everything is walking distance. Carlos and Liz were quick with responding on all of our questions. Truly felt like home here. I’m very picky on where I stay and I truly loved this place. Thank you, Carlos and Liz for lettings us stay at your place.

Alexei is the host with the most! By far the most helpful generous Airbnb host I have ever encountered. The home itself is wonderful, comfortable, and clean. I immensely enjoyed the colorful happy home! We loved sitting outside with the gas fire pit, watching the sunset and the waves. Gaviotas as a community has a ton of rules though so read them over prior to booking to ensure all aligns with your needs.

This is our second time staying here and we will be back without a doubt. It has become our home in the valley!

Julio’s was great to work with, very clear and easy

Juan and his AirBnB was exceptionally well, we enjoyed our stay and felt like we were right at home. The house was very cute and felt cozy. Everything was set up for us and easy to access. We used the kitchen and made breakfast, we had our whole family stay with us and occupied every bed and felt comfortable and there was enough space for everyone. Restrooms were well stocked and clean and so were the bedrooms and kitchen. Would definitely recommend this place and Juan and come back again.

We enjoyed our stay. House very clean and smell good. Just wish the upstairs deck had a fire pit and lounge furniture. The view is nice. There is also a restaurant and store you will have to drive up to the end to find it.

Rays place was amazing! The view was great!The home was nice and clean very peaceful. The beach was steps away! The location was great everything was near by! Ray was a great host! Responded quickly. As mentioned on the description the property has two homes on the same lot however that did not disrupt our stay at all. We had all the privacy and peacefulness any single property would have. Definitely recommend this place I would book again!

Lots of good restaurants close by. The view of the beach was nice…Polo was a great host, very responsive, and was flexible with my check in time.

David was truly the best host we could have asked for! As it was our first time in Mexico, he went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible—sharing thoughtful tips, local suggestions, and helping us feel right at home. When we arrived, he surprised us with delicious birthday treats! The home is a work of art with stunning views, just steps from the beach in a safe, peaceful neighborhood. Los Portales and La Fonda are a short drive away. We had an amazing stay. We hope to be back soon.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Great location, fully stocked kitchen with every appliance or tool you’d need. There was a friendly welcoming that made sure we have everything we needed. Highly recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely come back. There were 6 of us and I liked that every couple had its own full bathroom

Es un lugar perfecto para hacer hermosas memorias con la familia y amigos, la vista simplemente hermosa, el area de albercas simplemente genial. Si eres de las personas que te gusta relajarte, tener una buena platica, hacer una rico asado escuchar musica con un volumen respetuoso en un lugar limpio y agradable y compartir con los demas este es el lugar perfecto. Pero si te gusta la musica con un volumen alto y el baile extravagante, el escándalo, el desorden los gritos etc, ESTE NO ES EL LUGAR PARA TI, peerooo por su exelente ubicación estas en medio entre la zona centro que solo esta a 10 minutos donde encontraras toda esa diversión y de puerto nuevo donde encontraras riquísima comida y mucha diversión que tambien está a solo 10 minutos para regresar a descansar a este hermoso lugar.

Rosalba is one of the best hosts I’ve ever stayed with. She deserves great things coming to her in life for how kind she is and welcoming she made her home. I would stay here 10 times over again. Beautiful house and great location. I recommend 100/100 for anyone trying to get away for a weekend.

Their place is great! Did not skip out on the comfort and furniture in their home. The neighborhood is beautiful, safe, and peaceful. Great size house. The open indoor outdoor area is great for meals and hanging out.

Hermoso lugar las fotos coinciden con la realidad muy tranquilo fácil de llegar restaurantes cerca y excelente comunicación con el Host, definitivamente volvería!

The condo was amazing. The view and listening to the ocean at night was perfect. The picture did not do any justice you have to see it in person. Be careful driving to the unit cause the cops are watching tourist but beside that I would love to go back the store right net door. Its a beautiful place to visit.

This is my second time staying at this condo! I love the location and the scenery is a must. The building staff and security are very nice and helpful as well. The condo is close to downtown and it is easy to get taxis in this location. I definitely recommend staying here.

Clean space, nice view. Walkable to many restaurants and downtown. Would stay here again.
