Holiday houses in El Calvario

We very much enjoyed Sofia’s place. The flat is delightful and the terrace is especially lovely with its greenery and overlooking the surroundings - we often ate breakfast there and also some late evening suppers. We appreciated the thoughtful touches like the dressing gowns & plenty of coat hangers. Thank you Sofia.

Steve est extrêmement gentil et arrangeant. Nous avons dû écourter notre séjour car nous avons des enfants en bas âge et la piscine n’a pas de protection. Je conseille ce logement pour une famille avec des enfants plus âgés. C’est très calme, avec des orangers. Il faut prendre la voiture pour tous les déplacements (supermarché, restaurant etc)

We had a fantastic stay at this cosy and well-equipped cottage surrounded by beautiful Spanish nature. The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and restorative. One of the highlights was the cute chickens on the property, who provided fresh eggs every morning and which the host kindly shared with us. The garden is lush and tranquil, great for reading or just enjoying the sounds of nature (like frogs, birds and v friendly dogs), or the fire place in the evenings. The swimming pool was well maintained, with plenty of loungers and seating for sunbathing throughout the day. The host was outstanding—genuinely warm, friendly, and always available with helpful recommendations. Susanna made us feel at home, and allowed us to stay longer on check-out day so that we could enjoy the sun. The location is ideal: just a 10-15 minute drive to a picturesque village with excellent restaurants, historic spots, and scenic views. We left feeling refreshed, and can’t wait to return soon!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Ronda! Die Unterkunft war einfach atemberaubend – mit Abstand die schönste, in der wir je waren. Alles war sehr sauber und gepflegt, wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Der Pool war perfekt temperiert und die Aussicht auf Ronda war einfach phänomenal – ein echtes Highlight. Besonders beeindruckt hat uns die perfekte Lage: nur wenige Minuten ins Zentrum, aber dennoch absolut ruhig und mit viel Privatsphäre. Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100 % weiterempfehlen und kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Absolutely fantastic experience, the hosts are amazing, helpful and so responsive. We arrived late evening and someone was there to greet us and help get settled. We were travelling with babies and they even went the extra mile and brought us a few little bits of shopping and bottled water. The apartment itself is exactly as described. Tastefully decorated and super clean. Only a few meters from the city’s beautiful attractions yet it is quiet and peaceful. The court yard is a serene little haven from the heat. Such a wonderful and relaxing experience. Based on our 5* plus experience we would very highly recommend.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour ! Le logement est superbe : un design épuré, parfaitement équilibré entre le moderne et le traditionnel. Très bien équipé, propre, décoré avec goût… on s’y sent tout de suite bien. La ville est pleine de charme, avec ses ruelles paisibles où il fait bon se balader. Le supermarché à 2 minutes à pied est très pratique. Seul petit point à noter : le stationnement peut être compliqué, surtout pendant la Semana Santa. Mais cela ne gâche en rien l’expérience. La localisation est idéale, à environ 30 minutes de Séville, ce qui permet d’explorer la région facilement. Mention spéciale au propriétaire, extrêmement réactif, attentionné et soucieux du bien-être de ses hôtes. Un vrai sens de l’accueil qui fait toute la différence. Une très belle découverte que nous recommandons sans hésitation !

We hebben een super verblijf gehad bij César. Hij was heel gastvrij en heeft een super gastenverblijf op zijn mooie terrein. Er zijn meerdere relaxplekken met ligbedden, zowel in de zon als in de schaduw. Het zwembad is geheel als gast te gebruiken zonder beperkingen. En de honden zijn lief zonder opdringerig te zijn. Dit verblijf zouden wij absoluut aan iedereen aanraden als uitvalsbasis om naar Sevilla te gaan, en andere mooie plaatsen in de regio. Een (huur)auto is dan wel sterk aanbevolen. Al met al een super verblijf in een ontspannen omgeving met een prettige gastheer, aanrader!
