In the summer we can offer a fantastic place for morning swimming, canoe and a grazing horse herd outside the cabin. The cabin has an outdoor toilet and there is no electricity and water in the cabin. It provides a unique opportunity to live a little easier and connect to life, nature and moments. During the winter months you can fire in the fireplace, fish, ice swim, ski and ice skate or just enjoy the tranquility of the forest!

Here there is a rechargeable outdoor shower, and a bathroom with washing facilities, cloths and towels and hot water is available here. An old but cozy outdoor toilet + electric toilet. The cabin has a well equipped kitchen, dining nook, living room and bedroom with double bed. 2 - 3 beds in the annex. Not a private bathroom, but outdoor toilet and outdoor shower. Canoe and life jackets available. Nice hiking opportunities for mushrooms and berries picking. Perch and pike fishing. Free wood for the fireplace and fire pit. Top recreation for those who love nature and the outdoors.

Unlimited hiking opportunities with, among other things, the historic Soot Canal in the immediate vicinity. The place Skjølåbråtan has large outdoor areas. Norsk Grenselosmuseum is located in the same property. The place is the end point for Refugees Route starting at Skullerud in Oslo (about 12 km long) On the same farm is a 2 floor house that can also be rented.

Proximity to nature with great walking and biking tours, nature experiences with abundant wildlife, fishing, ice fishing, light rail (skiing), swimming. Close to Finnskogleden, Refugees Route, Queen's view etc. 22 km to Kongsvinger 40 km to Charlottenberg Shoppingsenter, 50 km to Valfjællet ski center. No smoking / pets allowed. For the sake of our neighbors and that the host lives 100 meters away, we want peaceful guests (not party place)

Adorable guesthouse by the lake

Come enjoy this quiet lakeside setting. The property is situated on the edge of the forest, 100 m from a small lake that connects to Storsjøen. There are plenty of hiking tracks in the forest, and we have two bikes for rent so you can explore the countryside roads. Storsjøen is a large lake great for fishing both in the summer and winter. In the summer, you can take the river down to the village of Skarnes, situated on Norway's longest river Glomma. We have a boat, a canoe and a kayak for rent.

Newly built atrium house

New, large atrium house is rented. Located right by Kongsvinger Golf Club (by hole 10 for you as is known;)), swimming area, freesbeegolf and nice hiking areas. 10 minutes drive away from Kongsvinger with swimming pool, bowling, paddle, restaurants, Kongsvinger fortress ++. During golf season there is also open restaurant 400 meters from the house, with good food and shyness :) The house contains four bedrooms, with the possibility of making up in an alcove as well.

Unique accommodation in Finnskogen

Welcome to a unique accommodation in the woods here at Finnskogen. Here you live alone and in one with the nature. Around the cabin, wildlife is abundant, there are many nice hiking opportunities, ski slopes, fishing opportunities and swimming opportunities. There is no car traffic at the cabin, and the parking is therefore about a 10 minute walk from the cabin. This creates a quiet without traffic sound, which you don't get many other places.

The "Fjøset" cabin

The cabin/apartment is rural on a small farm, in a separate building, which is suitable for those who want something unique. Enjoy silence and tranquility in idyllic surroundings. Suitable for everyone, and especially for those who like to hunt and fish, but also families with children, as it is quiet here and there is plenty of space. 4-legged friends are also welcome. Good ski opportunities right out the door, and many nice hiking trails.
