We had a great stay at Rebecca's, the accommodation is as described. Rebecca is a very responsive and accommodating host. The house is large and well-equipped for family gatherings. We would recommend it without hesitation 🙂

A gem of a place ! It is not easy to find places in the region that are not exorbitantly expensive or furnished from grandma's leftovers; this hits a perfect note with a mixture of stylish antiques and comfort, everything has been thought of down to the Savon de Marseille in the bathrooms! Clearly lots of love has been poured into the house and it shows, from a well stocked larder with everyday essentials (including coffee pods for the machine) to the lovely welcome hamper. The garden at the back overlooking the old monastery is perfect and very secluded and even though it was only April I managed to eat outside each morning and evening (there are 3 other terraces too). The host is on hand easily for tips on where to eat or visit if needed. Tusson is a great village with a good places to eat including the wonderful Gateaux for amazing cakes.

Aubeterre is a beautiful village perched on a hill, waiting to be discovered! The cottage was very nice, well equipped, with a beautiful view from the terrace. Beautiful decoration. Thank you

Thank you for this stay, this accommodation has a lot of charm, it is in a peaceful environment. Hosts are responsive, communication went really well. I would definitely recommend this little haven of peace.

Pleasant family stay, the house was exactly as we expected as indicated on the listing. The children were able to play outdoor games and enjoy the pool. They were delighted.

A pleasant stopover near Oradour, Limoges and St Junien. Anne welcomed us warmly and had anticipated the start-up of the stove. The house is old but spacious, very well located and in a quiet environment.

Excellent stay at Nicolas and Marlene's. A little piece of heaven. A beautiful setting and spacious room. So much thought and attention to detail has gone into this property. It has been built with love and the hosts are very eager to please. An excellent place. I particularly liked the cute cats and dogs the owners have and the gardens, as well as the cool party garage next to the pool with table football and other games to enjoy. Highly recommend

Wow!! Marie's house was beautiful and in lovely, tranquil surroundings. We were a party of 5 and the house and amenities were perfect. It was great to have a swimming pool to cool off from the summer sun. We booked for a week at a late stage but from the first enquiry to Marie and throughout our time there Marie was always very quick and helpful to respond. We absolutely recommend this wonderful house and host, but hopefully there will still be the opportunity for us to book again when we are in the Charente.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We would totally recommend this place and we will definitely return. Kim and Carol

Thank you for this lovely cottage, we had a great time there as a family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The coolness of the house is very pleasant in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for the kids!! :)

Alfie and I had a great time at Lee's immaculate courtyard cottage while house hunting in the area. Communication was excellent from beginning to end. A lovely, cosy place and a much appreciated and unexpected tipple awaited us after a long drive, which was very welcome! Nothing was too much trouble. The quality of decor and bed linen is first class. We are looking forward to our next stay again soon. Highly recommended.

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

Lovely place for a family holiday! They have great amenities like the heated pool, hot tub, ping pong table, badminton and a free tennis court. We spent 7 days a 6 nights there with 6 people and our little dog and really would recommend this to anyone who’s looking for a quiet, peaceful holiday in the south of France.

Julie and Keith have created a haven of peace and tranquility at their beautiful gite. The gardens are stunning and the gite is superb, extremely comfortable and full of thoughtful touches. The cottage is really ideal for family reunions with young and old, and what's more, in an idyllic setting to not spoil anything! The kitchen is super functional, the neighbours extraordinary, the garden beautiful and the dormitory won over even the most skeptical! I hope we will have the opportunity to come back! Thank you Guillaume for allowing us to meet in this magical setting of the Chanedière!

We spent three days and two nights in Anne-Marie and Paul's beautiful studio, and we intend to return as soon as possible. A real little cocoon, very well equipped and ideally located in a quiet and idyllic environment. And what a view from the deck! We enjoyed beautiful walks around the village, and our dog Marcus was over the moon. What can I say about the warm welcome and kindness of Anne-Marie and Paul? We simply felt like family. Anne-Marie even took the time to go for a walk with us, accompanied by her adorable dog Jojo, to show us the surroundings. Special mention for the little touches that make all the difference: fresh eggs from the house hens, cold beers and delicious cherries were waiting for us on arrival. In short, go with your eyes closed: it's really not an Airbnb like any other.

We spent 1 quiet night in this very well-appointed caravan and in a beautiful green setting. Very welcoming hosts, everything is done to relax and enjoy nature! Thank you again:)

Superbly tranquil location in lovely countryside. Very spacious accomodation and lovely garden.

Warm atmosphere with the option to make a fire! The garden is lovely as is the small farm. I recommend it for a quiet family stay. However the wifi is pretty bad so I recommend it more for a few days without network 😊 Thanks to Peggy and Maki who welcomed us very warmly
