Waterfront holiday rentals in Eastern Province

Lima blue villa is a place you’ll look forward to come back again. We had an amazing stay at this beautiful beach house in Nilaveli as a family of 6. The home was very comfortable, clean, and had everything we needed. It's just a short walk from a stunning private and peaceful beach. The staff were incredibly kind and always available, making us feel truly cared for throughout our stay. A special mention goes to the chef Sarawana, who prepared delicious meals every day each dish was full of flavor and made with care. It was such a treat to enjoy food in such a relaxing setting. It's not just a place to stay it's an experience we'll always remember. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for something beyond the ordinary.

cozy place for comfortable stay in Nuwara Eliya. accessible to everything. 4 Adults can be comfortably accomodated with everything you need. Housekeeper and host are very responsive and attentive all the time. definitely a recommended place in this location.

We booked Cheshan's place in less than 12 hours before arriving. The host quickly replied to our questions. He and the caretaker were very helpful and agreed to take our luggage for storage before checking in. The place itself is lovely and within walkable distance to the center and the lake. The apartment is in the new building with underground parking and a pub nearby. The bathrooms were clean and well maintained. Highly recommend this apartment for fellow travelers.

First things first, the photos don’t do the place justice! The apartment really is beautiful, there is so much space, it is very well equipped and felt really homely. The pool area is excellent and you are right on the beach. It’s perfect for early morning walks and evening swims, of which we did both. The bed was really comfortable too. Handy having a restaurant on site. Highly recommend this property.

Dimuthu was a great host. The moment we enter the place he gave us a small tour and took us to a private waterfall next to the house. He was kind enough to show us around, recommend restaurants and tuk drivers. His family was always nice and we even got some food one day, really friendly people. The house itself looks like the pictures, it is really spacious, there’s a fish tank!, it’s a really peaceful place to stay. My favourite part was the privacy of the place, just accompanied by puppies, monkeys and fireflies. It was a pleasant stay and Dimuthu was a great host.

We loved our stay here, it exceeded our already high expectations! The design of the house is very cool, it’s much bigger than it looks from the outside or photos. We loved the outside space and the breakfast. Having the access to the beach was so special. The housekeeper Kasruthi made us feel at home

The location is very central yet very private. The house has everything you need and upon arrival the fridge was already filled with things. Furthermore, very close to the beach. The staff is always very helpful and special thanks to Sahana! She is very attentive and helped me with some medical issues.

Wonderful stay. The house is as described, the beach is stunning and the little roof terrace perfect for catching sun all day or providing shade if wanted. Sri Lankan breakfasts were delicious and Kasthuri (housekeeper) was delightful and hugely professional.

Ich kann mich den sehr positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Auch für mich war dies ein sehr besonderer Ort! Das Guest House liegt sehr ruhig und gleichzeitig fußläufig zum Ort. Nachdem die Tage zuvor etwas anstrengend und chaotisch waren, konnte ich hier direkt zur Ruhe kommen und die Akkus aufladen. Weit weg von allen Touristenströmen… Krishan und sein Team waren zudem sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Als wir da waren, haben wir uns kurzfristig für eine Safari entschieden, die Krishan für uns organisiert hat. Für uns war diese allein unter dem Gesichtspunkt möglich, dass diese im Respekt zur Natur- und Tierwelt durchgeführt wird. Dies war im Maduru Oya Nationalpark auf jeden Fall erfüllt. Wir haben 2x das Curry genossen, was absolut köstlich war. Unabhängig von der Safari, einer meiner Lieblingsorte in Sri Lanka. Danke Krishan!

The Sayura Beach House was built between the river and the beach at the end of a small side road. On the ground floor there is one large bedroom with four beds, AC and attached bathroom. On the top floor there is one bedroom with a double bed and AC and an open balcony type area with four beds (with mosquito nets). These two rooms share a bathroom (toilet and sink) and a separate room with a shower. There is a third bedroom on the top floor with three beds (no AC) and attached bathroom. Bed sheets, blankets, soap and towels are provided. On the ground floor there is large open dining area with a big table to have the meals. Everything was clean. There is no WiFi and the showers have no hot water. The staff cooked us delicious meals with the groceries we provided. They were very helpful and attentive, also making us fresh tea whenever we asked for it. It's completely quiet there (no traffic). The beach is very close, one block away, you can see it from the top floor. There are beautiful sunrises over the sea and the sunset is also very scenic. The beach is clean and very long - perfect for a walk and maybe collect some shells. As we went in the offseason we could not swim but there were no other people at the beach - we had it all for ourselves. In the morning the fishermen pull in a huge net for catching fish, which is interesting to watch. We were a group of 13 people, including 5 kids, and all of us enjoyed our 3 days at the Sayura Beach House very much. Definitely a place worthwhile to visit again.

what can we say more then we were sad to leave this place. From the moment we arrived, in the rain, it felt like we visit friends. Our 1 year old daughter gets everything she needed and more. And also for us everything was provided, such as delicious food. It was very kind that our driver could stay over. the scenery is beautiful, you can sit outside watching the lake or take a walk. Or go and watch elphants along the road or look for the panoramic view. But the best part was the kindness of krishan and his wife and the beautiful conversations. We take it all back with us. Absolument FABULEUX !! Après une semaine en vadrouille avec nos deux enfants de 11 et 7 ans dans le centre et le Nord du Sri Lanka, l'appartement de Thuraisingam était exactement ce qu'il nous fallait ! Un resort de très belle qualité, sur une plage absolument magnifique. L'appartement est fidèle aux photos, la literie est top, les salles de bain également. Je recommande totalement !

The apartment was beautiful! Spotless, with a beautiful view overlooking Nilaveli beach. The swimming pool was amazing, and the beach right ahead was BEAUTIFUL! We thoroughly enjoyed our short stay and would definitely recommend. Also there were lots of restaurants local- great seafood restaurants and Lankan style cuisine. My family had a lot of fun! 😌 would definitely come back if Im ever in the trinco area again!

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of a three week trip around Sri Lanka. It was a great way to end the trip, in a clean, air-conditioned and spacious apartment overlooking the sea. The setting is perfect - sunrise over the sea and picture postcard beach and palms in between. The apartment is part of a larger complex, but it never felt crowded and the pool and surrounding greenery were lovely. It’s clean, comfortable and spacious, perfect for a family. There are a few restaurants and amenities within walking distance but most stuff is either a hot walk or a tuk tuk ride away. It’s worth pointing out that if you’re planning to self-cater, there aren’t many grocery stores in the area and those that are there are sometimes sparsely provisioned. We tended to have breakfast in the apartment and then lunch and dinner locally. All in all, a fantastic base for a relaxing few days - we’d happily return and can equally happily recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay at Ghazzali’s apartment. It was perfectly clean and tidy and we felt right at home. The amenities within the apartment were very helpful as well as the pool area and very easy access to the beach. Ghazzali was very responsive with messages and we greatly appreciated him hosting us on very short notice. We were extremely impressed with our stay. 10/10. Would recommend to all, especially families.

Absolutely amazing breathtaking fact you forget about all your worries and sorrow the moment when you walk in and look through those big massive windows really really wish I could’ve stayed longer however, looking forward to Returning in November once again thank you for all of your assistance during my day and constant phone calls definitely recommend this place guys worth every penny
