Bungalow holiday rentals in East Java

Barbara’s house is a dream, set in a peaceful and idyllic location. Communication with Barbara was smooth, and the team taking care of the house was very kind and efficient. The only thing we missed were mosquito nets over the beds — though I suppose the low-temperature air conditioning makes up for that. We just prefer not to sleep with the AC on. But this is a minor detail in an otherwise perfect stay. After five days of sea, pool, and total relaxation, it was really hard to leave. We would return without hesitation!

Words can’t describe the beauty of this property. It is an absolute gem. We had the whole resort by ourselves and it was like owning a piece of paradise for couple of days. Only sounds you could hear is waves , birds and local faunas. Staff were absolutely amazing and made us feel right at home - Sudama, Martha, Chris and everyone else were super friendly and genuine . No request was difficult, whether you want to rent a bike or have dinner according to your dietary requirements. Last but not least- huge thanks to Mey and Corentin for managing this absolute gem. Can’t wait to visit this place again. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

5/5 Stars - Serene Oceanfront Oasis! Gede's hosting was phenomenal! Warm, welcoming, and attentive. The location is breathtaking - quiet, peaceful, and oceanfront. On-site restaurant serves delicious meals. Gede arranged a fantastic fishing excursion and reliable taxi service. Airport pickup was a scenic surprise, stopping at stunning viewpoints and temples. A picturesque waterfall is within walking distance! Gede's trustworthiness and local insights made me feel secure. Highly recommended! Niluh was very helpful. For a family with a small children, the room was great. My son enjoyed the pool. The cottage was right across of the Japanese Shipwreck snorkeling spot. Overall, it was fabulous!!

Wonderful experience, worth recommending

This place was like a little piece of paradise. The huts were a perfect touch to enhance the private feel. The food was delicious and the view accompanying it was stunning. When we wanted to explore the buggy service was there with the perfect adventure waiting. The staff was extra accommodating when there was a small issue with our first room. The quickly resolved it and helped us move our belongings to our new room. Thanks for everything!

A 😍 wonderful place like a fairy tale, a quiet location next to rice fields, close to warungi serving delicious dinners. Through the windows, greenery and jungle pour in, even a friendly gecko found its way to our room. The 😅 contact with the host is excellent - good recommendations and quick response. Very friendly service and the pool and garden are beautiful! We highly recommend it!

This was one of our favourite places we stayed in in Bali. If you are looking to stay in a more peaceful area in the middle of nature but still want to have access to certain amenities (restaurant, spa, pool), then this is the place for you. It is also great for families.

Well before I landed, Yuli messaged me and kept in contact with me throughout my entire stay in Bali. If I was ever in a pickle, she would come and help me with information galore. They would make breakfast or lunch (depending on what time you’d wake up) and I thoroughly enjoyed every dish. The staff were also incredible. From looking after the plants to looking after myself. I also rented a bike through Yuli it was very cheap.

We had a wonderful stay at MoonBag Bungalow 3! The place is just like the pictures – very stylishly decorated, clean and with a beautiful open bathroom. You can tell that we worked here with a lot of love for detail. The location on Gili Air is quiet, yet central enough to reach everything quickly. Mikael was a great host – friendly, helpful and easily accessible. We felt completely comfortable and would come back anytime. Absolutely recommended to anyone looking for relaxation on Gili Air!

We had an amazing stay at this private villa in Ubud. The space was peaceful and beautifully maintained, with a clean and inviting pool. One thing we especially appreciated was that, despite being surrounded by nature, no geckos made their way inside the villa—which was a nice surprise! The combination of comfort, cleanliness, and quiet made it the perfect retreat. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and unwind in Bali.
