Beautiful place in a nice area. Amazing views from the master bedroom and bathroom, we were lucky to have clear skies. A great place to recharge surrounded by nature and wildlife. And great thanks again for accommodating the horse-riding on such short notice (we didn't know it was possible!). Kids loved it so much, best Christmas gift!

Gordon and Merillyn were wonderful hosts! Five stars no notes for this beautiful property. Gordon and Merillyn left detailed instructions for our arrival to Kalimna and carefully considered recommendations for our stay. They had prepared freshly baked bread, fresh fruit and provided chocolate for our Easter enjoyment. We also had many bird varieties visit the rainforest-esque back garden. Could not have asked for a better location for our Easter getaway - would recommend to all!!

My kids and I have enjoyed staying at Phil’s place numerous times. It’s perfect if the family don’t mind sharing an open plan room. It’s close to the beach and bike tracks which suits our needs. Will return!

A Perfect Winter Escape with Stunning Views! What a fantastic winter getaway for our group of eight! WenResting's waterfront views are even more breathtaking in person. The house is incredibly spacious and comfortable, easily accommodating our large group without feeling crowded. We loved the cozy living areas, and the reverse-cycle air conditioning was a blessing on the chilly evenings. The well-equipped kitchen had everything we needed, and having all the linen and towels provided was a thoughtful touch. Kellie was a brilliant host, friendly and communicative and made the entire check-in process effortless. The location is second to none. Being just a short, scenic stroll from the footbridge made exploring Lakes Entrance an absolute breeze. The spectacular views and warm, inviting atmosphere made our stay unforgettable. We only had 1 night at this B&B (last night). Ling met us on arrival with an umbrella because it was absolutely pouring rain. Everything was nicely presented and once we turned the heating on we were nice and cosy and warm. Everything in the way of amenities was supplied. The continental breakfast was sufficient with lots of choices of cereal, toast and fruit and everything is dairy free so we enjoyed our first Oat Milk Cappuccino and really enjoyed it. Such a great place. The third bedroom is massive and could fit a family in that room alone. The other two bedrooms are also decent size as is the living room. Feels really spacious and it’s cool to wake up and see the water from bed. Highly recommend for the price point

This is an amazing property my family and I really enjoyed our stay. It’s peaceful and has plenty of open space where my kids had a great time playing in the snow. Highly recommended

Such a beautiful and peaceful place to getaway! Close to so many beautiful lookouts/ trails; i would say a perfect location. We noticed Kim had taken extra effort to make this home as comfortable as possible. Love that they provided firewood for us and the absolutely clean bedrooms. Lucky got to meet their friendly dog Hugo on our way out! Would totally come back.

Scott was quick to respond and easy to talk too. Accommodation is cosy and perfect for what was needed. Great deal. Location is incredible for exploring the surrounding areas. Frankie the Kelpie kept my 3yr old occupied playing fetch and running around the yard. Definitely coming back when visiting the Sapphire Coast!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lucas’s place! The house is beautiful, offering the best views of Lakes Entrance — truly breathtaking. The rooms were spacious and very comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. Lucas was a fantastic host, friendly and attentive, ensuring everything was perfect throughout our visit. The house was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with plenty of amenities to make the stay convenient and enjoyable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to experience Lakes Entrance in Paynesville in style and comfort!

We had the most wonderful, relaxing stay – such a beautifully decorated cottage and the morning sunrises from the balcony, nestled among the sprawling garden, were just wonderful. So cosy, and the host was so kind and responsive, always there to assist with any issue. We would love to stay again some time.

Amazing location. The sound of wildlife was incredible both during the day and at night. The house was cosy and incredibly clean. A great spot for dogs to run around and be cosy inside as well.

We stayed here while working in the area and couldn’t have been happier. The home was spotless, well equipped, and really comfortable after long days on site. It’s in a great location, close to everything we needed. The host was easy to communicate with and made the whole process smooth. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others traveling for work or leisure!

We enjoyed this beautiful setting and Karen made us (and our doggo) feel very welcome. Gorgeous treetop and water views from bed and the deck. Comfy bed, spacious accommodation and everything we needed. We only stayed one night but would've loved a second.

Good place to stay and staff is helpful. Please bear in mind to bring your own supplies as there are no shops in Wonboyn. The host did let us know this before too which helped us plan better. Also we did find Coles in Eden 25 mins away so had no issues. The Wonboyn beach is something to look forward to.

We were only able to stay one night but really enjoyed our time there. The flat is the perfect size for a small family and was very clean. We would definitely stay again if we come back.

We had the most incredible stay at this cabin! The location is absolutely unbeatable — just steps from a stunning beach with crystal-clear water and golden sand. Waking up to the sound of the waves and having morning coffee with ocean views felt like a dream. The cabin itself was cozy with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. It felt private and peaceful, but still close enough to explore nearby cafes and attractions. Couldn’t have asked for a better beach escape — we can’t wait to come back!

100% worth the stay! very clean, quiet and exactly as it looks in the pics. Stayed with 2 kids and there was a lot of space to spread out. kids loved it and so did we! host was super friendly and exceptionally responsive.

Beautiful peaceful property on the edge of town with lots of outdoor space. Our kids loved the pool, cubby and fire pit! Beautiful beach just down the bush track. And the house is very well set up.

Colleen's place is great for families with dogs. Big TV, good internet, hot shower, and a brisk 8 minute walk to the beach, it was exactly what we wanted! And unlike some other listings, the house is *actually* dog friendly - if your dogs love sitting on the couch (like ours do), Colleen was perfectly happy to let us cover the couch with a couple spare sheets (which we brought ourselves). The only thing missing was a pantry - but we probably cook more than most visitors. Will definitely be back!

Had a most wonderful stay at Fishpen Retreat. The property is super private, with lots of natural light, spacious with great living, dining and outdoor spaces. Peter was very responsive, and was so kind to supply firewood, with kept us warm and cosy throughout the evening chill. All amenities required were available for a very comfortably and cosy stay. Location is perfection! Right across the road from beach & Mitchie’s jetty and Merimbula lake on the opposite side. An easy walk into town if required - you cannot go wrong here! Highly recommend for a relaxing stay anytime of the year, warm or cold weather. Having stayed at many places in Merimbula in the past, can definitely say that this will be our preferred choice of accommodation for future visits.
