Pet-friendly holiday rentals in East County, San Diego

The host was awesome, it had a great bed and 2 televisions, some games for us to play. It was within walking distance of a couple of gas stations so we had a 7/11 run for ice cream. It was great for us! Would definitely recommend and come back again!

The hosts are great and the house was perfect. A special recognition of the perfect white towel.

It was wonderful. The views from the deck were amazing. Every bed was comfortable. I loved the bowl of gummy’s they had for us 😁. It’s was perfect for our family reunion everyone had privacy and the family room’s furniture was perfect to cozy up by the fire and watch tv. I loved the weather there. I opened up the windows and we had perfect weather so we never had to turn on the air conditioner. Kelly allowed us to put the cover over the pool and it warmed up the pool and the grandkids had a blast. We had multiple generations at home ( 4 generations from 85?to 1 yr old 😁) and everyone was happy. Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy family together.

This AirBNB was a very great place to stay at. A big space outside for the kids and it was in a peaceful neighborhood. If I ever visit San Diego again I would love to stay at this AirBNB!

The Home’s floor plan fit perfectly to our group. Daughter, Son in law and grandkids had 2 private, quiet bedrooms and a living space for play and relax. Upstairs flows well and our Batchelor Son enjoyed am en-suite all the way at other end of home. The master bedroom is spacious and the bath is large and functioning.

We had a fantastic week in La Jolla! John’s place was charming, spotless, and perfect for our family. The home was well-stocked with thoughtful amenities—including beach gear—and had everything we needed to feel comfortable. The location is unbeatable: a quiet, family-friendly neighborhood within a few minutes walking distance to the beach, great restaurants, coffee shops, and more. John was a friendly and responsive host who made everything easy from start to finish. Honestly could not have asked for a better host. Highly recommend for families looking for a relaxing, convenient stay in La Jolla. We’d love to come back!

We needed a place for 3 adults Sydnie’s place was so great from the first time I messaged Sydnie she helped me with local recommendation’s for restaurants/groceries/stores she sent me all the info I messed to make our stay wonderful. The house was everything that was shown. I would recommend anyone to stay here and will definitely will be back.

craig & julie’s place was absolutely stunning!! me & my now husband stayed there for our wedding weekend, it was the most beautiful getaway! upon arrival the house was spotless & any questions we had, craig & julie answered promptly! we also left our wedding cake and they helped to coordinate shipping it back home to us. would definitely stay here again!

We loved staying at Wil’s place. The place was amazing, cozy and everything we wanted for our family. We loved the aesthetic, and the pool was so fun to play in. It was quiet but close to everything we wanted to do, so it was the perfect place to come back to after a long day out. The host and hostess were amazing, friendly and extremely helpful. We can’t wait to visit again.

Jeff’s place was in a great location in the middle of San Diego. The place was immaculate. He obviously is serious about the upkeep of his property and the happiness of his guests. I contacted him that we would be arriving pretty late on our first night so he made sure to leave the light on for us. Entry was always easy with the electronic locking system. Water pressure in the showers was awesome and we wanted for nothing. Thanks Jeff!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The location was stunning, with ocean views and the soothing sound of the waves—it was the perfect place to relax after a day out. There were several great restaurants within walking distance, and we loved being able to grab snacks from the nearby Oxxo, just a short 5-minute walk away. The host was very accommodating, allowing us an early check-in, which we really appreciated. Security at the front was helpful and friendly—they assigned us a parking space and made it easy to find the building. We did experience a couple of minor issues: the shower wasn’t draining properly, and on the third day, the door wouldn't lock. The host responded quickly to our messages, but unfortunately, no one showed up after we waited about an hour. However, the issue was resolved while we were out, so everything was fine when we returned. Despite those small hiccups, we had a lovely time and would definitely consider staying here again. Such a relaxing and comfortable stay! We hope to return for a longer visit. We loved Molly’s casita and just being a short 15 min drive to multiple cute beach towns with plenty to do/eat/see!

This is one of those true gems you’re absolutely stoked to stumble upon. The minute we drove down the country lane and saw the house, my wife and I knew we had found a truly magical getaway. We both agree it’s one of the top three homes/properties we’ve had the pleasure of experiencing! Every square inch of the property is amazing. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is stocked and perfect for those who enjoy cooking. We cooked three of the four nights because we just loved the atmosphere and views so much! Our four year old absolutely loved exploring the trails, pond and backyard. The hot tub was in perfect condition. Rare! The awesome fire-pit on the balcony was perfect for making smores and staying warm while listening to the frogs sing while stargazing. We played games, watched movies and just had a perfect long weekend. The worst part was having to say goodbye! It was so peaceful, it’s going to be hard to beat such a good nights rest. Another week would have been nice!

The little welcome touches like cookies and thoughtful signs added a warm, personal touch that we really appreciated. I had the pleasure of staying in one of Victor’s places. While my trip from South Florida to California was anything but smooth the stay was safe, comfortable and quiet. As I arrived late, Victor was in touch immediately and made sure I got in quickly and I knew how everything worked. The patio area beyond your private gated entrance is nice for morning coffee, any meal, cocktails or just relaxing and enjoying being outside. Inside, you’ll have everything you need. Standing at the beautiful kitchen sink looking out onto a lovely grassy backyard area with blooming bushes was unexpected and not common for most rentals. The bed was firm. The AC worked great. The shower was great. Anything you want is close by. Very much enjoyed my stay here as well as interacting with a gracious host. Hope to stay there again next time I’m in town. Thank you, Victor!
