Dome holiday rentals in East Africa

I am gonna be very honest here. Coming from Cape Town I was a little bit worried at first, since we drove to this air bnb in a brand new white (rental) jeep and the area was very rural (which would not be considered a safe place in the city). The farm is situated in the middle of a village called Morelema, the streets that you have to take to get to it are kind of rough (4x4 or SUV recommended but no must) and we got some confused and stunned looks when we drove past the villagers and playing kids. Retrospectively speaking this was the best thing that could happen to me! The village and Mariette restored a big part of my trust into humanity! As soon as we got comfortable I realized that everyone was super friendly. My initial fear was blasted away and my girlfriend and I had one of the best stays in our whole life's! The place is absolutely stunning and I would totally recommend it to anyone who wants an authentic and lovely air bnb in the rural areas of Mpumalanga.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la villa Pampas 2. La maison était superbe, propre, très bien équipée et décorée avec beaucoup de goût. Le jardin et la piscine permettent de profiter pleinement du séjour également. Un grand merci pour l’accueil de Soumila et ses petits plats qui sont un régal. Excellent contact avec les propriétaires. Nous recommandons ++

Ein sehr schönes Haus. Es gibt alles was man braucht und täglich kommt für 3 Stunden eine ganz liebe Haushälterin, die für kleines Geld auch einkauft und kocht. Ein Auto ist empfehlenswert wobei der Hausstrand in 8 min fußläufig erreichbar ist.. wer touristischen Rummel sucht, geht besser nicht hier hin. Albion als Stadt bietet fast keine Geschäfte, außer einem gut sortierten Supermarkt. Das Haus mit seinem Pool und dem hilfsbereiten Besitzer ist eine Empfehlung!

Chrystel, ihre Mutter und Tochter waren äußerst freundliche Gastgeberinnen. Sowohl unsere Unterkunft als auch der Garten waren super gepflegt. Schöner Bereich zum draußen sitzen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jeder Zeit wieder kommen.

Great place. Incredibly private and big/furnished enough for 6 people to comfortably relax. Geraldine was super helpful and responded within minutes on messages. As she lived next door - any issues we found (not many), she came round immediately and helped. A great warm welcome and offered support where possible. The dome was incredible, amazing birds in the garden, great sized pool, and all the amenities you'd need with a driveway big enough for 4 cars. Will definitely be returning!

Great place - my husband and I came here off season looking for somewhere with less sand, souvenirs sellers and restaurants and more quiet and seclusion and this delivered perfectly. We loved our time in the water swimming and snorkeling with little orange jelly fish. We even got a try on the paddle boat for the first time and smacked into the water. It was the exact healing by ocean that we needed. Thanks team. We’ll be back in Sha Allah

Great place, great host. Very accommodating and very helpful.

This is a place, where you can experience the African culture and living. The host upgraded for free our room with a better one, which was our first positive impression. We visited Little Amanya camp in the rainy season, so Kilimanjaro was almost permanently hiding in clouds, but in exchange the temperatures were better. A lot of birds could be seen and the Observation Hill point is definitely a spot that must not be missed if you explore the wonders of Kenya! The guys had prepared a wonderful breakfast for us, and African food there in general was genuine and delicious 😋. It is a budget location that in the dry season would easily beat the Masaai Mara overpriced accomodations.

Lovely quiet place. Gives good impression of the wideness of the landscape. Restaurant offers welcome services.

Hello everyone, If you are looking for an accommodation to discover the western part of La Réunion and want to experience the original Airbnb. Dom‘s accommodation is the place to be. We have enjoyed the chats with Dom and her husband and received plenty tips. Moreover, the view down to the valley and ocean is amazing.
