Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Eagle River

We loved this stay! Such a great blending of up north woodsy but with the conveniences of home. With an 8 mo old baby and a couple toddlers, the multi level was a perfect set up for quiet nap times with little things like room darkening shades that made it so easy. Everything was clean and cheery and we loved it so much. We’d be back if our family wouldn’t be outgrowing it! Jodi communicated promptly and allowed us to extend our stay last minute. Highly recommend!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! It was an up north oasis! The crisp winter air, the pines looking over the frozen lake, the fresh winter snow…perfection! The home was cozy and warm after a day outside. The beds were comfortable and the home was clean. We will be returning for a future weekend away!

Cozy and clean cabin, with everything thoughtfully arranged. The best part was enjoying morning coffee outside with a view of the river. A peaceful and lovely place to relax. We’ll definitely be back! 🌿☕️

We could not have been happier with our decision to stay at Little Red! Sue is a phenomenal host; whether it was accommodating our unexpected early arrival or sharing the secret behind the fresh scent of her linens, Sue went above and beyond when it came to taking care of our needs. The property itself is also worthy of praise. Little Red is located on an accessible road, making it easy to come and go year round. This makes it easy to enjoy the local attractions, especially with Sue’s detailed recommendations left on-site. Summertime visitors will love the convenient access to the lake as well as the amenities Sue provides, such as fishing equipment and water toys to explore the lake. Winter visitors will also appreciate features like a wood stove and plenty of wood. It is not an easy task to make someone feel at home while on vacation, but Little Red truly felt like our home away from home during our stay, and we are already considering a return visit in the fall. The pictures do not do this place justice. It was absolutely beautiful! Everything was very clean and fresh. The view is amazing and the property is so private. We loved the screened in porch and the fireplace. Very comfortable furniture and beds. Our pup loved running around and going out on the dock. The location was just what we wanted, centrally located between the bike trails in Boulder Junction and Lac Du Flambeau, and the convenience of Woodruff and Minocqua where there are many good restaurants and Dan's Minocqua Fudge where they make their own excellent ice cream and candy. We also took a nice walk on the Bearskin State Trail out of Minocqua. I highly recommend Christine's place and we will definitely be back!

Our stay at Evan's house was amazing and very relaxing. The spacious layout provided generous room for everyone to relax. The access to kayaks and paddle boats made our time on the water fun, and the option for boat rental allowed us to explore even further. The kitchen was well-equipped, making cooking a breeze, and we had an amazing time tubing and enjoying bonfires under the stars. With exceptional communication from our host Evan, this place is the perfect getaway for relaxation and adventure. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to return!

The accommodations were great. It was clean and comfortable.

We loved our weekend getaway at Mark and Wendy’s cabin! The views were beautiful! Also, Mark and Wendy had great communication with us throughout the entire experience.

It is a great and peaceful place with good backyard. Host is super responsive and always there to help you out.

This apartment is so lovely, comfortable and peaceful. It was spotless and had everything we needed. It was so nice to go “home” at the end of each day. And as wonderful as the apartment was, John and Patti are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. So warm and friendly. Just great people. We will definitely stay with them again the next time we are in Iron River!!! John and Patti, THANK YOU.

Most of the apartment has been recently remodeled & tastefully decorated with eclectic tables & lamps, thoughtfully selected artwork, mostly nature themes, some watercolors painted by one of the hosts. Nice homey touches throughout making for a pleasant stay when indoors. TV has been upgraded to a small flat screen (not shown in pictures). DVD is a regular, not Blu-ray player. It worked for us. Beds were comfortable firm. We slept well. Kitchen had most everything you need for meal making. Kitchen towels, scrubbie, dish soap & hand soap were supplied. No blender but plenty of pots, pans, bowls & dishes. One hand towel in the bathroom, otherwise bring your own bath towels. Hand soap only provided Beautiful view of the lake. Loons present every day. Boat landing is a few minutes' drive around the lake. Only drawback for some may be the length of stairs leading from the duplex down to the lake. There is a railing, but the stairs may be harder for anyone with knee issues or older folks.

The AC in the bedroom was great, as "fall" was still quite warm. All in all, Jhen was a pleasure to deal with, and this home was a wonderful place to stay!

We absolutely LOVED our stay! We have stayed at a lot of places over the years and this was definitely one of the best! It was beautiful, peaceful, cozy and had all of the amenities we could have asked for! Loved the lighting, helpful instructional signs, the sweet welcome package (thank you again!) and the recommendations for favorite waterfalls, wineries and breweries! We really felt at home and welcomed. Thank you for the exceptional experience! 💗

This was advertised as private , quiet and peaceful. It was all of those things. I came up with my dog Pebbles just to get away for a few days. There are nice trails to walk on . Went fishing on nearby Rose Lake. Saw a Loon , eagle , kingfisher, hummingbird and a giant snapping turtle. Made a nice fire . All in all , a wonderful place .

Enjoyed every minute of our stay at Maria's property! She was incredibly responsive to questions and accommodating. The place was a perfect winter landing spot for me, my husband, our 8 yo and our dog. The kitchen was well equipped for all the meals we made, there were comfortable beds, and we enjoyed the puzzles and games galore. Everything was clean and they'd thought of extra helpful touches like the gate for stairs (which we used to help contain our pup), sleds outside (which we used daily!), and a first aid kid for the unexpected injuries my child/husband always seem to get. We've stayed many places up north and this is one we most certainly would love to return to!

We had a great time at Phil's cabin! The chairs on the porch were great-- we carried them to the beach for lounging and they were sturdy enough for our fat bodies. There is a walking trail along the lake right in front of the cabin. It's not the most private, but it worked well for us. The deck is great; the beach is great. There are two public fire pits that you can walk to and use (beautiful view of the lake). We really enjoyed the fire pit on our deck. Large table in kitchen great for crafts, or games. Pull out couch bed was comfortable, and we used it. Tight squeeze into the bathroom, but doable (again, we are fat) the shower is amazing. Recommend! It's unique to get that beach in front of your cabin and not to have to go down a ton of stairs to get to the lake.

The stay was wonderful. Cabin was as described and clean. Dock was in and ready to use and the yard was clean. We did have 2 dogs (friendly) that came by us that weren’t ours, but weren’t a nuisance to us at all. Overall it was a wonderful stay and the hosts responded quickly to the few questions I had!

We had a very nice time staying at the cabin. Would highly recommend.

This is the best air bnb experience I’ve ever had, of about 2 dozen. There were a million things that made the house above and beyond, with details and amenities that made the difference between a place to stay versus being hosted by someone who wanted us to feel as at home as possible. We went fishing on the kayaks every morning, and loved the fire pit and hammock for two :) We had a great time cooking and reading and relaxing and hardly ever wanted to leave All the chargers, knife sharpeners, laundry supplies, extra blankets and towels, snacks and coffee provided, the streaming services that were already logged in, the backyard games, the basement chalk wall, large selection of spices, noise machine for sleeping, and some of my very favorite books. Most importantly, Kate made us feel welcome. She didn’t have a million check in/out instructions or tons of cleaning we had to do (yay for dishwasher) and allowed us to enjoy the stay without guilt. Hoping to go back next year!

The cabin was exactly what my wife and I were looking for. Right on the water with a dock to tie our boat up. Very helpful with the questions we had. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to relax and watch one eagle after another fly by and put on a show.
